Last home game for the Irish and all the scrutiny and public backlash directed at beleaguered head coach Weis is deplorable. While I am not personally a big fan of the Irish, I am a fan of teams who make me money, and last week I cashed them in as a dog at Pitt. The entire world, every publication and every TV show you watch has U Conn winning this outright in the land of Touchdown Jesus this Saturday. I do not buy it one bit. With all the action on U Conn, why not one line move off of 6 points as of Friday yet? Because Vegas oddsmakers are BEGGING you to take U Conn, I say play the contrarian on this play. Carolina -3 to 3.5 (buy the ½ point down if need be…3 points almost everywhere this AM)
Tale of 2 teams going in different directions. QB Delhomme now getting it together and WR Smith becoming more integrated into the offense. Panthers banged up at running back but have depth and a better scheme. Off a big win at Arizona, who is no slouch I like their chances at home against a Miami team who just lost Ronnie Brown for the season and while RB Williams is a good back, losing Brown takes them out of their element. The Fish defense is giving up huge yards and big plays. Carolina at home is worth 3 points and they are 3-5 points better on a power rating, there is value in this line. Miami is 0-7 ATS their last 7 against non conference foes. Panthers still in the wildcard hunt believe it or not and a winnable game at home here will not fall through the cracks.

NBA | Nov 19, 2009 Phoenix Suns vs. New Orleans Hornets
Yes the Suns beat the Hornets by 20 about 8 days ago, but I have made a ton of money going against the Suns on TNT Thursday night games as they always carry a premium line. They are 5-17 ATS their last 22 TNT games. I like home dogs on TNT, and the Hornets Chris Paul is out, but David West is stepping up. I like the backcourt for the Hornets at home, and the Suns while hot, are due for a fall. I cashed them on the road Tuesday at Houston, but the Hornets can run with them, have a new coach and outlook for this game on national TV tonight at home, and are in serious revenge mode. The public is all over Phoenix, but 7+ points is a ton of points for a home team in the NBA, we are grabbing it.
Wow. Big line, but in Stillwater, OSU should absolutely cream the Buffs. Okie State is still in the running for a BCS bowl bid if they win out against Colorado and Oklahoma next week. Colorado off a short week with back to back road games, and they just lost to Iowa State on the road. Last time this happened on a short week Toledo ran up 54 points on them in a blowout loss on Thursday ESPN, no question it may happen again here. OSU also has a healthy Kendall Hunter back to add skilled depth, and have no doubts that OSU will run it up if they can in this one. Senior night to boot, and QB Robinson is playing although he got a little banged up last week. New QB Hansen helping Buffs, but no depth for Colorado.
