03-01-18 | Blue Jackets v. Kings -144 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show
Late release on the LA Kings on the money line. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
02-26-18 | Flyers -122 v. Canadiens | 1-0 | Win | 100 | 5 h 15 m | Show
Late release on the Flyers on the money line on Monday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
12-19-17 | Lightning -127 v. Golden Knights | 3-4 | Loss | -127 | 3 h 27 m | Show
Late add: I'm playing Tampa Bay on the money line. Thanks & GL! Scott. |
06-11-17 | Penguins v. Predators -137 | Top | 2-0 | Loss | -137 | 42 h 57 m | Show |
I'm laying the money line price with the Predators on Sunday night. Â Home ice has meant everything to this series, with the home team cashing all five games and we expect the trend to continue. Â Pekka Rinne had a tough one in Pittsburgh in the Game 5 loss, but he was afforded extra rest after being pulled from the game with 40 minutes of ice time to go. Â Rinne has had issues at PPG Paints Arena, but he's been stellar in Nashville. Â While the series was tied 2-2 before the last game, we could easily say the Predators had controlled the ice in the Finals for about 3 1/2 out of the 4 games played. That wasn't the case last time out, but I expect a return to Nashville's home dominance tonight. Â The home team is on an 8-0 run when these two teams have met. Nashville is on a 6-0 run at home when trailing in a playoff series and finally, they're on a 15-3 run at home revenging a road loss by at least three goals. Â I'm backing the Predators on Sunday. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
05-25-17 | Senators v. Penguins -190 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 17 h 20 m | Show
I'm backing the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night. Â Ottawa did their best to slow the tempo in game-6, including a return to a 1-3-1 defensive format for part of the contest. Â But the fact is, while they won the game, it was all about the play of Sens goalie Craig Anderson rather than stout defensive play. Â The Penguins finished with 46 shots on goal to just 30 for Ottawa. Before game-6, Anderson had allowed 7 goals in his previous 49 shots faced. The Penguins are healthy on the offensive end and we feel they're going to put too much pressure on the Sens blue-liners and Anderson. Â I'm laying the money-line with the Penguins, our game-7 release. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
05-06-17 | Penguins v. Capitals OVER 5 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 15 h 23 m | Show
I'm playing the Over between the Penguins & Caps on Saturday night. Â These teams have scored a combined 5 goals in three of the first four games of the series, with 8 goals score in game-2. Â We expect another high scoring game tonight. Â The key to this play is the fact the Caps have moved a few skaters around, putting Alex Ovechkin to the third line. Â I expect with the moves, Washington will be much more diverse on the offensive end, rather than putting all their eggs in one basket. The new scoring line depth will drive this game Over in my betting opinion. Â Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has forced their will on teams like Washington, those allowing no more than 2.4 goals per game, going Over 15 of the last 21 times with an average of 7.1 goals score per game. Â And we note that games involving two teams each averaging at least 2.9 goals per game have sailed Over to the tune of 60-25, provided they stayed Under in at least two straight previous meetings. I'm playing the Over between the Penguins & Caps on Saturday. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
05-01-17 | Capitals +104 v. Penguins | Top | 3-2 | Win | 104 | 6 h 57 m | Show |
Adding a Late Release on the Capitals on Monday (money line). Â Late releases don't include analysis due to time being of the essence. Â Thanks & GL! - Scott. |
04-16-17 | Wild -105 v. Blues | Top | 1-3 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 16 m | Show |
I'm backing the Minnesota Wild on Sunday. Tough start to the series for the Wild, especially in game-1 when Jake Allen turned aside 51 of 52 shots on goal. Â The Wild are down two games to none, but just missed in both games, including game-1 when an inadvertent Zach Parise deflection kept a puck from getting across the goal line with a chance to take the lead. Â But the Wild were the second leading scoring team in the league in the regular season and I expect a concerted effort to get Mikael Granlund back on track. Â The Blues have lost five straight at home when leading in a playoff series the last two postseasons. Â Minnesota has held the Blues to a total of eight goals in five meetings since December. Â This time, I expect the Wild to make it stand. Â I'm backing Minnesota, my NHL Knockout. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
01-03-17 | Kings v. Sharks -140 | 2-1 | Loss | -140 | 19 h 4 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. Â These teams met on New Years Eve in Los Angeles, a 3-2 Kings' win. Â San Jose has been great in the second of a home-and-home situation, winning five in a row. Â The Sharks have been outstanding on the defensive end of the ice and the Kings have struggled scoring goals on the road, scoring two goals or less in six of their last seven away from home ice. Â The Kings have won just one of their last six road games. Â Nice bounce back spot for the Sharks and we'll jump on board. Â I'm laying the money line with San Jose, my Tuesday Power Play. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
12-29-16 | Bruins -130 v. Sabres | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 15 h 7 m | Show
I'm playing the Boston Bruins on the money line on Thursday, my Power Play release. Â The going has been a little tough on the Bruins of late, but we expect a bounce-back in this one. Â They remain one of the top defensive teams in the league and they're 3rd in shots on goal per game at the other end of the ice. Â Boston gets "just what the doctor ordered" against one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL. The Sabres are 27th in SOG allowed per game and they're 30th on the penalty kill. And while the Bruins are on a 5-0 run in the series, Buffalo has won just 19 of their last 58 following a win. Â I'm backing the Boston Bruins, my Power Play on Thursday. Â Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
12-17-16 | Flyers v. Stars -117 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 5 h 43 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Dallas Stars on Saturday afternoon. Â Bounce back time for Dallas when they host the Flyers in daytime action. Antti Niemi is expected to be between the pipes tonight for the Stars and he has been on fire. Â Niemi has allowed just three goals in the last 65 shots he's faced and dominated and shutdown the Flyers when he faced them on two occasions last season. Philadelphia is on a big run, but Dallas actually outshot the Flyers when the teams met last Saturday. Â Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen did not have a strong game, allowing four goals on just 22 shots. Again, we expect Niemi to start, but we also don't mind a revenge spot if Lehtonen gets the nod. I'm backing the Dallas Stars, my Dominator on Saturday. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
12-16-16 | Sharks v. Canadiens -130 | 4-2 | Loss | -130 | 18 h 49 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night. San Jose has dominated this series of late, winning seven of eight, but most of those wins came in northern California. Tonight, we expect Montreal to gain a a measure of revenge. Â The Canadiens have had 3 days off to regroup following a home loss to the Bruins. Â They're 14-1-2 at home this season and haven't lost two in a row on home ice since last season. Â The Sharks are a little banged-up at the center position tonight, already down Tomas Hertl and now Logan Couture (back) could be sidelined. Strong spot for the home team and we'll jump on board. Â I'm laying the money line with the Canadiens, my Friday Power Play. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
12-15-16 | Rangers -116 v. Stars | Top | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 20 h 51 m | Show |
I'm laying the money line with the NY Rangers on Thursday night. Â The Rangers are off a loss and have been outstanding in this spot, winning 10 of 11. Â Dallas is just the opposite off a win, rarely stringing together back-to-back wins, losing 10 of 11 in this spot this season and dropping 15 of 18 in this situation going back to last year. Â New York owns the 2nd highest goals per game mark in the league and will face the NHL's worst defense, allowing 3.2 gpg. Â The Stars are weak on the defensive end in general and the play between the pipes leave a lot to be desired. Â Call it a case of "just what the doctor ordered" for the Rangers in our opinion. Â I'm laying the money line with the Rangers, my Power Play on Thursday. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
12-06-16 | Canadiens v. Blues -125 | Top | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 16 h 60 m | Show |
I'm backing the St. Louis Blues on the money line on Tuesday, my Power Play. Montreal's big run to start the season is a thing of the past and part of the problem is that they're 22nd in shots on goal per game, 23rd in SOG allowed, and their penalty kill is in the bottom-third of the league. The Blues have been red-hot at home, but look to rebound after an OT loss to Winnipeg last time out. And with the way they play on the defensive end (3rd in SOG allowed & 2nd best PK) it's doubtful Montreal's attack will be able to hang in this one. Â I'm backing the Blues on the money line, my Power Play on Tuesday. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
12-02-16 | Wild -126 v. Flames | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -126 | 17 h 10 m | Show |
I'm backing the Minnesota Wild, my NHL GOW on Friday night. Â Good spot for the Wild to snap a 2-game skid. Â We expect a chippy game tonight with little love lost between these two teams. But the deciding factor could very well be Calgary's horrible special teams. The Flames rank 30th on the power play and their penalty killing stinks. Â They also offer little on the offensive end and will face a Minnesota squad that ranks second in the league in goals allowed per game. Â We'll back the Wild as they look to extend their head-to-head run to 7-2. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-29-16 | Wild -144 v. Canucks | 4-5 | Loss | -144 | 22 h 31 m | Show
I'm laying the money-line with the Minnesota Wild, my Road Warrior. Â The Wild aim to get back in the win column in a game with major matchup advantages. Â The Wild own the stingiest defense in the league, allowing just 2 gpg and have the most shutouts (4). I won't be shocked if they pick up shutout #5 on the season, facing a Canucks' attack ranked 2nd to last in the NHL, scoring just 2.14 gpg. Vancouver has won just 5 of their last 18 games, overall, and they're on a 16-36 slide against teams with a winning record. Â We'll back Minnesota as they look to extend the series run to 5-1. The Wild are my Road Warrior on Tuesday. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-29-16 | Maple Leafs v. Oilers -149 | 4-2 | Loss | -149 | 20 h 10 m | Show
I'm laying the money-line with the Oilers on Tuesday night. Â Edmonton is back on home ice looking to get back in the win column and tonight they're getting "just what the doctor ordered." The Toronto Maple Leafs are in town and they have won just 1 of 10 road games this season. Toronto has scored a grand total of just 10 goals in their last six road contests. Â Defensively, they're 3rd from the bottom in goals allowed per game and 2nd to last in shots on goal allowed. Edmonton averages 32 SOG per game and will put pressure on the Maple Leaf blue liners. I'm backing Edmonton, my TKO on Tuesday. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-22-16 | Hurricanes v. Maple Leafs -125 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -125 | 18 h 7 m | Show |
I'm laying the money line with the Toronto Maple Leafs, my NHL Power Play on Tuesday. Â The Leafs have been strong on home ice this season, posting a 7-2 record and they have been piling up the goals at Air Canada Center, scoring 6 or more goals in four of their last five at home. Â In fact, they have won three straight at home by a combined score of 18-6! Â Cam Ward has had a strong November between the pipes for the Hurricanes, but I expect him to meet his match in this one. Carolina won in a shootout at Nashville on November 5, but haven't had a clear-cut road win since October 20, still their only road win in regulation this season. Â Carolina is on a 1-7 slide against teams winning at least 60% of their home games. Â I'm backing the Maple Leads, my Power Play on Tuesday. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-18-16 | Blackhawks -150 v. Flames | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 19 h 36 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Blackhawks on Friday, my Heavy Hitter. Chicago lost last time out, but are still on a 9-1-2 run in their last 12 games. Â They'll face a Calgary squad that has won two in a row, but is just 3-6 at home. Â The Flames have scored a grand total of just 7 goals in their last 6 games, overall, and it certainly doesn't help that second-leading scorer Johnny Gaudreau is going to be sidelined for a while. Â They'll also face a Chicago team ranked 10th in the league, allowing just 2.5 gpg. Â Patrick Kane gets "just what the doctor ordered," tonight, looking to bounce back from a short drought. Â Kane has four points in two games against the Flames this season. Â Finally, Chicago is on a 20-5 run against teams that are outscored by an average of at least 0.3 gpg. Â Chicago averaged 3.6 gpg in those 25 outings, allowing just 2.1 gpg. Â I'm laying the money line with the Blackhawks, my Friday Heavy Hitter. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-17-16 | Jets v. Flyers -128 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 16 h 3 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Flyers, my Power Play on Thursday night. The Flyers lost in a shootout to Ottawa last time out, a home loss. But the Flyers are close to busting-out, in our opinion. Â They're tops in the NHL in shots on goal per game and 4th in the league in shots on goal allowed. But they haven't been great on the penalty kill. Â Winnipeg is middle of the pack in all of the above, while winning just 3 of 8 road games this season. Â They are in off back-to-back home wins and have not fared well in this spot, winning just 2 of 14 following a 2-game unbeaten streak. Meanwhile, the Flyers have won four straight home meetings with the Jets. I'm backing the Philadelphia Flyers, my Power Play on Thursday. Â Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
11-15-16 | Capitals -135 v. Blue Jackets | 1-2 | Loss | -135 | 15 h 60 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Washington Capitals, my NHL Road Warrior on Tuesday. Â We understand that Columbus is red-hot right now and scoring goals-a-plenty. Â We also know that Washington is going to be a ticked-off hockey team after getting drubbed 5-1 last time out. Â The Caps own the style of play to throw a wrench into the Blue Jackets' offensive system. Â Washington is not only 8th in the league in goals allowed per game, but they're 6th in the league in shots on goal allowed per game. Â While the Jackets have been hot, the fact is, they're just 30th in the league in shots on goal per game. Â We also believe we'll see Vezina Trophy winning goalie, Braden Holtby back between the pipes tonight, a definite advantage for the Caps. Â Between Washington's defensive play and Holtby, we expect Washington to come out ahead in this one. Â I'm backing the Capitals, my Tuesday Road Warrior. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-11-16 | Jets v. Avalanche -136 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 16 h 59 m | Show
I'm backing the Colorado Avalanche on the money line on Friday. Â Winnipeg played last night and has not fared well when playing without rest, winning just 19 of their last 67. Â The Avs have under-performed in 2016 thus far, but we believe they're getting "just what the doctor ordered." Â Not only are the Jets in the tough spot mentioned above, but Semyon Varlamov is expected to be between the pipes tonight for the home team. Â Varlamov has struggled of late, but he owned the Jets in a matchup earlier this season, allowing just one goal. Â We will play the Avs whether Varlamov is in net or not. Â It's a revenge spot for the Avs, having lost the earlier meeting 1-0, despite controlling the ice and outshooting the Jets, 37-21. Â We're also getting value, considering the Avs were a -174 favorite in the first meeting and are now laying around -140 at the time of this post. I'm backing the Avalanche, my Friday KO. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-11-16 | Stars v. Oilers -155 | 3-2 | Loss | -155 | 16 h 58 m | Show
The Dallas Stars played last night, a 4-2 winner in Chicago. Â But the Stars have won just 17 of their last 61 when playing in the second of back-to-back nights. Edmonton is playing with two days rest after winning two of their final three of a five-game road trip. Â The Oilers will face a Dallas squad that has left a lot to be desired on the defensive end this season and we expect Edmonton to take full advantage. Â Home ice has meant four straight wins in this series and we believe it'll be five straight after tonight. Â I'm backing the Oilers, my Friday Heavy Hitter. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
11-03-16 | Devils v. Panthers -145 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 17 h 8 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Panthers on Thursday. Â Florida beat New Jersey to start the season and the Devils should be "just what the doctor ordered," for the Panthers to turn around their current 1-4 slide. NJ has has been outstanding on home ice, but they have yet to win on the road and have made some recent line changes. Â I believe the changes will take a couple more games to produce consistently, especially away from home. Â The Devils are in the bottom-third in the league in SOG per game allowed, while scoring just 2.2 gpg at the other end of the ice. Florida is getting their shots, ranked 8th in the NHL in SOG per game, and they allow just 2.4 gpg. They simply need to bury a few of those shots in the back of the net. Â I believe they will against the poor-traveling Devils. Â New Jersey has dropped six straight road games going back to last season and the home team in this series is on a 14-3 winning run. Â The Panthers won the first meeting, out-shooting the Devils, 34-24. Â I expect more of the same tonight with the win coming by a wider margin. I'm laying the money line with the Florida Panthers, my Heavy Hitter. Â Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
10-29-16 | Kings v. Blues -135 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 19 h 33 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. Â After a strong start, the Blues have dropped four of their last five, but draw "just what the doctor ordered," when the Kings roll into town. Â The Blues have been close to outstanding on the defensive end, ranked 2nd in PK (stopped 23 of 24 short-handed situations) and they're the 6th stingiest team in SOG allowed. Â It's been a situation of a lack of goal scoring in their losses, but L.A. ranks in the bottom-third in the league in goals allowed per game. We also don't expect the Kings to offer much on the offensive end where they average just 2.7 gpg. Â St. Louis is on a 55-14 run at home against teams playing worse than .400 hockey on the road. Â The Kings are not only 1-2 so far this season outside of L.A., but they have won just 2 of their last 9 roadies going back to last year. Â I'm laying the money line with the Blues, my Saturday Smash. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
10-28-16 | Jets v. Avalanche -150 | Top | 1-0 | Loss | -150 | 20 h 33 m | Show |
I'm playing the Colorado Avalanche on the money line on Friday, my Heavy Hitter release. Â The Avs haven't played since Saturday when they closed a four-game road trip with a loss to Florida. They'll obviously be well rested here, but the same cannot be said for the Jets. Â Winnipeg played last night and gained a measure of "turnaround" revenge, beating Dallas two nights after losing to the Stars on the road. But the Jets have won just 17 of their last 65 in the second of back-to-back nights. And they're bottom-third in many key categories, including both ends of the ice. Â The rested Avs have won four of the last five meetings in Denver and we'll back them here. Â I'm laying the money line with Colorado, my Heavy Hitter on Friday. Â Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
10-25-16 | Ducks v. Sharks -155 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 31 h 10 m | Show |
I'm laying the money line with the Sharks, my Tuesday Heavy Hitter. Â San Jose returns home for the first time since an opening night 2-1 win over the LA Kings. Â After a five-game early season trip, they've had the last two days off and we believe they'll be more than ready to snap a 2-game skid. First of all, the Sharks are 35-16 on two days rest. Â A couple of other positives: even though five of their first six games were played on the road, San Jose is 7th in the league in shots on goal and 4th in the league in shots on goal allowed. Â We believe Anaheim will be "just what the doctor ordered," unable to "keep up" with the Sharks in this one. Â Anaheim enters on a 1-5 road slide, while San Jose is 6-1 in their last seven division games. Â I'm backing the Sharks, my Heavy Hitter. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
10-22-16 | Lightning -107 v. Senators | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show
I'm backing the TB Lightning, my Saturday Smash. Â The Lightning are also off a loss, getting shutout after three straight wins to begin the season. TB actually out-shot the Avalanche, 27-16, but Ben Bishop receive little help out front, while Colorado goalie Semyon Varlamov stood on his head. Â They'll face an Ottawa team that's allowed 16 goals through their first four games and ranks 27th in the league, allowing 4 goals per contest. Â I'm backing the Lightning, my Saturday Smash. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
10-22-16 | Hurricanes v. Flyers -130 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 7 h 33 m | Show
The Flyers are catching the Hurricanes in a tough spot, playing their fifth road game in 10 days as they have had to start the season with six straight on the road. They won their most recent, but have won just 21 of their last 65 following a win or a tie over the last three seasons. Â The Flyers have been pressing too hard, but they welcome "just what the doctor ordered" to snap their 3-game skid. Â I'm backing the Flyers, my Crusher. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
10-22-16 | Avalanche v. Panthers -153 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 32 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Florida Panthers, my Heavy Hitter. Â Florida has dropped two straight, but this is a team playing well on the defensive end, where they rank 1st in penalty kill, 6th in SOG, and 7th in goals allowed per game (2.2). Â Colorado is off a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay, but was out-shot 27-16 and have struggled getting shots on goal this season, ranked 30th in the league, averaging just 24.5 per game. Â This plays right into Florida's defensive strengths. Â I'm laying the money line with the Panthers, my Heavy Hitter. Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
10-20-16 | Blues -116 v. Oilers | 1-3 | Loss | -116 | 19 h 24 m | Show
I'm backing the Blues on the money line, my Thursday Crusher. Â Edmonton is off to a nice start record-wise, but I don't like the fact they're allowing 33.2 shots on goal per game (25th in the NHL). Â Eventually, the dam will break under those kind of numbers, much like what happened in Edmonton's 6-2 home loss to Buffalo on Sunday. Â There will be times when the Oilers won't be able to outscore their opposition. Â I expect that to be the case tonight. Â St. Louis suffered an OT loss to Vancouver last time out following a tough, physical clash with the Rangers on Saturday. But a bounce back is in order here. Â The Blues are on a 10-3 road run against teams with a win percentage of .600 or better and they're on a 6-1 run in Edmonton. Â I'm backing the St. Louis Blue, my Thursday Crusher. Â Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
10-19-16 | Maple Leafs v. Jets -125 | Top | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 18 h 4 m | Show |
I'm laying the money line with the Winnipeg Jets, my Mid-Week Mismatch. The Jets have owned this series since Atlanta's franchise move to Manitoba for the 2011-12 season. Â They're 9-2-2 the last 13 meetings and will seek their 5th straight win against the Leafs tonight. Â We do like the play by Winnipeg on the defensive end, despite their 1-2 start. They're top-10 in shots on goal allowed. Meanwhile, I do expect Toronto's struggles on special teams to begin to catch up with them, including in this contest. Â The Leafs have been a disaster away from home ice having won just 16 of their last 67 road games and they lost their first road contest of this season in OT. Â We look for the trends and special teams to continue in Winnipeg's favor and we'll back the Jets, our Mismatch release on Wednesday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer. |
10-18-16 | Sabres v. Flames -146 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 20 h 37 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Calgary Flames on Tuesday. Â The Flames are off to a slow start, but things got a little better last time out when Chad Johnson got his first start of the season between the pipes. Â After two rough outings by Brian Elliott, Johnson held the Canucks to one goal on 31 shots. Â Johnson is set to face his ex-mates tonight, a Buffalo team with injuries already starting to mount. Â The Sabres beat Edmonton last time out, but they're just 20th in the league in SOG per game, while the Flames rank 7th in the same category. Â I look for Calgary to finally bust-out on offense, while Chad Johnson handles everything at the other end. Â I'm backing the Calgary Flames, my Mismatch release. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
10-15-16 | Jets v. Wild -145 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 22 h 11 m | Show
I'm laying the money line with the Minnesota Wild, my Heavy Hitter. I like what Winnipeg is doing, but they're young and will take time to climb the power rankings and standings. Â They did fight hard in their season opener, coming from behind, scoring three third period goals. Â But the Wild, who lost their opener, should be one of the tougher defensive teams in the league and we expect that to be the difference in this one. Â Minnesota is looking to snap a 3-game head-to-head skid, and we are betting they'll get it done against the improving, but young Jets. Â I'm backing the Wild, my Heavy Hitter on Saturday. Â Thanks & GL! Â Scott Spreitzer. |
