NFL Handicapping Insight
2016 NFL Win Totals: Cincinnati Bengals OVER 9.5 (-130)
Last season, Cincinnati was one of the easiest Over bets in the NFL.
This team surpassed many expectations and should have found themselves in the conference semi finals had it not been for a pair of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
The schedule is a little tougher, but very doable for this team. With Andy Dalton to AJ Green, along with a pair of stellar running backs, the Bengals offense is one of the best.

The Bengals get the benefit of the Browns twice, along with winnable home games against the Broncos, Bills, and Dolphins.
2016 NFL Win Totals: Pittsburgh Steelers OVER 10.5 (-130)
Staying in the NFC North, the Steelers are a team that can really do some potential damage this season.
Picked by some to be a darkhorse for the Superbowl, the Steelers pay some juice on the Over, but it’s worth it here.
The Steelers schedule offers very winnable road games, which is always a major key in big win totals like this one.
Pittsburgh’s offense with Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown is one of the best combos in the game. Le’Veon Bell will miss the first two games, but with games against Washington and at home against the Redskins, the situation could have set up worse.
2016 NFL Win Totals: New York Jets UNDER 8.5 (-115)
The Jets get the unfortunate task of playing the NFC North this year, which isn’t something they should be looking forward too.
Pittsburgh and Cincinnati are likely playoff teams should they stay healthy, while the Ravens should be a contender for both the division and wild card.

There is a fine line for each QB too.
Ryan Fitzpatrick will likely get the nod, but an early slip up could result in Geno Smith getting thrown into the fire early.
With Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg looming, the veterans must perform or could find themselves benched real quick. Regardless, any of the above 4 QBs likely don’t have the talent to grab 9 wins.
2016 NFL Win Totals: Indianapolis Colts UNDER 9.5 (-130)
The Colts will be back heavily on the Over by the public on this win total and it’s no surprise because of Andrew Luck.
However, health has to be a concern for the Colts heading into this season.
Just an 8-8 team last season, the Colts still lack a major run game, which really does put a lot of pressure on Luck to perform.
With the exception of TY Hilton, the Colts really don’t have many deep ball threats either.
Indianapolis could run it’s course and sit with 8 or 9 wins at the end of the season, which is perfectly fine. However, with so many health concerns, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this team struggle a bit in the middle of the season as they get worn down.
2016 NFL Win Totals: New Orleans Saints OVER 7 (EVEN)
It’s been a disappointing last couple of years for the Saints. A team that used to be one of the top in the NFC, has fallen off and missed the postseason in back to back seasons.
The good news heading into this season is that the Saints have never missed 3 consecutive postseason under Sean Peyton.
The task is tall as this offense has Drew Brees and only Drew Brees.
The WR core consists of Brandin Cooks,Michael Thomas,Brandon Coleman, and Willie Snead. Nothing overwhelming by any means, which is why this total is so low.
Defensively is where this team fails though. They will be the key to this Over. If the Saints can figure things out and start to slow teams down and continue to give Brees the ball with some rhythm, then this Over has a lot of potential to cash.
2016 NFL Win Totals: Detroit Lions UNDER 7 (-105)
The Lions are one of the most confusing teams heading into this season.
First off, the retirement of Calvin Johnson came at an odd time, but nonetheless leaves a giant gap in the Lions wide out core.

Marvin Jones and Golden Tate now are the two head guys that Matthew Stafford will work with, which isn’t something to get too excited about. With Johnson gone, the offense will clearly be less explosive.
On the defensive side there are plenty of questions. With the offense not able to bail them out, is the pressure too much to overcome for Detroit? Probably.
