The Volunteers got a big road SEC victory last week against the Bulldogs in Athens. Even though it was off of a last second Hail Mary, there is no denying the clutch plays the team made down the stretch.

Tennessee Volunteers
Joshua Dobbs has been on a hot streak the last couple of games. Against Kirby Smart’s Bulldog defense he had 3 touchdown passes with 1 interception, and also got a score on the ground.
I expect him to have a tougher time throwing the ball with Myles Garrett on the other side of the line of scrimmage, but he should still make some big plays.
Jalen Hurd has had an up and down start to the season running the ball. Against Georgia he had 40 yards rushing the ball but did also get 50 yards receiving and a score, his second straight week with a receiving touchdown.
Look for him to have over 100 total yards again, and get a third straight game with a receiving touchdown.
After starting the season with a touchdown in the first 4 games, Josh Malone was held quiet last week.
He had only 2 catches for 23 yards. This week he will have a tough time finding the end zone again, but look for him to make an impact with key third down catches to move the chains.

The Vols run defense must be better this week, as they gave up nearly 4 yards per carry against the Bulldogs.
I do expect the passing defense to play another good game after shutting down Jacob Eason last week.
Texas A&M Aggies
The Aggies passing offense didn’t do much against the Gamecocks defense.
This week look for Trevor to have another rough outing throwing the ball. He should toss a touchdown pass and use his running ability to keep the Aggies in the game late.
Trayveon Williams had a good game against South Carolina last week.
He averaged 7 yards per carry and got a score for the third straight game. He should come up huge against a Vols defense that was shredded by Georgia last week.
Christian Kirk should be a key receiving option for Trevor Knight again this week. He had over 60 yards receiving and I’m looking for him to be on the receiving end of a score against Tennessee.

The Aggies defense shut down the South Carolina passing game last week.
They held the Gamecocks to under 150 yards passing. Josh Dobbs is a much tougher test this week but Myles Garrett should pick up two sacks in this one.
If the defensive line can shut down the running game it should lead to an easy victory.
