I like the Carolina Panthers to win this game and shut the Denver Broncos down for the majority of this game. The Broncos struggled to score against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots.

In fact, it was really hard to watch at times as they just struggled to do anything on the offensive end. They will be facing a Carolina Panthers defense that may just be the best defense in the NFL.
This is a defense that is very reminiscent to the Seattle Seahawks and we all remember what the Seahawks were able to do against the Broncos in the Super Bowl two years ago.
So, in terms of this prop the Denver Broncos are out of play. I don’t see the Broncos scoring first in this game and the value isn’t there. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are both 10/1; C.J. Anderson is 11/1 and Ronnie Hillman is 16/1.

All very unattractive options. Just cross off all Broncos play to score first as scoring period will be a struggle for Denver/
Best Super Bowl 50 Free Prop Pick Bet:
Greg Olsen +1000 – Any Player To Score First
The best bet to score first is Cam Newton’s favorite target, Greg Olsen. The reliable tight end will get a number of looks and he’ll have a good game. Olsen is a threat to score at the goal line, in the red zone, or just outside the red zone. Outside of Cam Newton, Greg Olsen is the most important player on the offensive side of the ball.
Plus, if there is a weakness on this Broncos defense it is that they don’t defend the tight end well. Rob Gronkowski was able to go wild catching 8 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown.
The Steelers didn’t target Heath Miller much, but in the season finale versus the San Diego Chargers, Antonio Gates was able to score a touchdown. Olsen will be a focal point for the Panthers and bunched up in the red zone, Olsen will get his targets.

Speaking of Newton, he is worth a look, obviously, but I’m not crazy about the 8/1 odds. Newton is more likely to scramble around and find Olsen in the back of the end zone rather than taking off and doing it himself early in the game.
Value Super Bowl 50 Free Prop Pick:
Mike Tolbert +2500 – Any Player To Score First
If you want a little bit more juice, I point you towards Mike Tolbert. When you factor in the fact that Devin Funchess is getting 20/1 odds and Philly Brown is getting 16/1 odds the value is there for Mike Tolbert.
Tolbert is just as likely to find the end zone first as those two, but the difference is Tolbert will definitely get a couple of cracks from the goal line – whereas you don’t know when Funchess and Brown will get their targets as they will take a back seat to Greg Olsen.
