The Oilers come in on a current 3 game losing streak after dropping to the Blackhawks in OT.
New Jersey
The Devils have been one of the more surprising team thus far into the NHL season.
New Jersey had won 4 of 5 heading into this road trip, but a 3-2 loss to Calgary has set them back a bit. Still, 4 out 6 isn’t bad and the Devils are still getting some solid play all around, especially from G Corey Schneider.

Schneider’s 3 goals against in the Flames game was the first time in 8 games he’s allowed 3 goals. on the season, Schneider is 9-5-1 with a GAA of 2.05 and a SV% of .926.
Mike Cammalleri continues to be the leader for the Devils as he’s recorded 18 points in 18 games.
Adam Henrique has been the best offensive threat for the Devils this season, as he leads the team with 8 goals.
Edmonton
The Oilers have really been reeling as of late.
Losers of three in a row, the Oilers have the NHL’s lowest point total with just 13 on the season. They do come in off one of their most impressive performances of the season, even though it came as a loss. Edmonton took the defending champions to overtime, but eventually fell 4-3.

Taylor Hall leads the way for Oilers along side Leon Draisaitl. Hall has tallied 8 goals and 21 points overall. First round pick Leon Draisaitl has recorded 6 goals and 14 points overall in the 9 games played this season.
Draisaitl also brings in a 4 game point streak.
G Cameron Talbot has been a struggle this season and one of the main reasons for the Oilers struggles. Talbot is just 3-8 with a 3.09 GAA.

The Oilers struggles stem from just too inconsistent goalie play. With the Devils playing well thus far into the season, grabbing them at plus money is a nice price here.
