The Western Conference’s best team got back to its winning ways after a three-game losing streak. Now, the Dallas Stars will look to build on their Central Division lead with a Saturday night over the Minnesota Wild.

Minnesota
The Minnesota Wild are having a solid year midway through the NHL season. Their 50 points would put them just four points behind the L.A. Kings in the Pacific Division, but instead they sit 4th in the highly-competitive Central. Minnesota has lost three of its last four games, including an ugly 4-3 home loss to the struggling
Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.

The Wild have played well at home this season, but are a mediocre 7-6-6 on the road. Now, they’ll have to take on the Dallas Stars, a team that’s won 17 of 21 games at home.
Mikko Koivu leads Minnesota with 32 points and the Wild are hoping he’ll be back to 100 percent after being taken to the hospital against Columbus on Monday.
Devan Dubnyk will get the start in net for Minnesota. Dubnyk, who was the NHL’s hottest goaltender during the second half of last season, hasn’t played nearly as well this season. He comes in with a record of 17-11-4 and a GAA of 2.33 to go along with a save percentage of .920.
Dallas
The Dallas Stars have done it all this year and have asserted themselves as one of the most dangerous teams in the NHL. Forwards Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin are both in the top-3 in points, and the Stars’ 148 goals scored is an astonishing 20 goals ahead of the next closest team.
Dallas’ 62 points is the 2nd-best in the NHL and is tops in the Western Conference.

The Stars are 17-4 in front of their home crowd and are 11-1 versus Western Conference opponents at home. Dallas is also 5-0 in its last five home games and has outscored its opponents 20-4 over that span.
The 2nd-place Chicago Blackhawks have won six in a row and are still six points behind Dallas in the Central Division.
That’s how much Dallas has been dominating this season.
Antti Niemi is expected to get the start in this one. He comes in with a record of 16-7-4 and a GAA of 2.42 to go along with a save percentage of .913.

4* Free NHL Betting Pick: Dallas ML
At -150, this is a pretty steep price, but how can you bet against the Dallas Stars at home? They’ve been dominating the entire year and have only lost once at home against a Western Conference opponent this season.
