In their last game it looked as if the Bucs would move to 3-3 on the season, but they blew a 24-0 lead against he Washington Redskins and eventually lose 31-30. Now they head to Atlanta to face the 5-1 Falcons where they are 7-point underdogs.
The Falcons got over their first loss of the season with a win in their last game and while they are a team known for their offense they won their last game with their defense beating the Tennessee Titans 10-7.

The Falcons have won 7 of their last 19 games against the Bucs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs have to be smart in this game and not get killed by penalties. In the Washington loss they committed 16 penalties and they have the 2nd most in the NFL.
Jameis Winston had a great game in the loss to the Redskins passing for 297 yards with 2 TD and 0 INT.
Mike Evans was his main target in the game and he had 164 receiving yards and a TD. Winston was held in check in the 2nd half and after scoring 24 points in the first half they only scored 6 on 2 field goals in the 2nd half.
Doug Martin also had a solid game in the loss to Washington rushing for 136 yards. He has a tall task in this game facing an Atlanta run defense that ranks 4th in the league.

Winston will have his chance in this game to pad his stats, as the Falcons only rank 26th in the league defending the pass. Sure, they held the Titans to only 7 points in their last game, but Tennessee was playing their backup QB.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons rank 5th in the NFL averaging 403.1 yards per game.
Atlanta had trouble getting into the end zone in the win over Tennessee even though Matt Ryan, RB Devonta Freeman rushed for 116 yards, and WR Julio Jones had 9 catches for 92 yards.
These are the players that the Bucs have to key on, as Ryan ranks 4th in the league in passing yards, Freeman leads the league in rushing yards, and Jones ranks 2nd in receiving yards.
Which defense will show up for Tampa Bay in this game? The one that held the Redskins to 7 points in the first half of their last game or the one that give up 24 points in the 2nd half.
The Bucs pass defense had been playing well on the season, but in the loss to the Redskins they gave up 305 passing yards and Kirk Cousins torched them in the 2nd half.
Tampa Bay did hold the Redskins to to only 50 yards last week, but stopping Freeman will be much more difficult.

Tampa Bay ranks in the middle of the pack this season in terms of sacks, they have 16 on the season, and putting pressure on the less than nimbler Ryan will be key for them in this NFC South match up.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Over 48.5
Tampa Bay has shown flashes of being a legit team this season, but they have given up way too many big plays and committed too many penalties.
They will score points, but their defense will not be able to keep up with Ryan and company and they will lose and fall to 2-5 on the season.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Atlanta 34 – Tampa Bay 27
The home team is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 games between these 2 teams and that trend continue in Atlanta this Sunday.
