Any coach, expert or knowledgeable fan will tell you that it all comes down to players and matchups. Here’s a look at five players that will have a major impact on Sunday’s Big Game, and we provide Predictions for 2017 Super Bowl online for free!
Julio Jones Predictions for SuperBowl LI
Julio Jones has been one of the most lethal weapons in the league for his entire career, but this year he moved from dangerous to completely unstoppable. Jones led the league with 100.6 receiving yards per game this year, and that has increased to 123.5 yards during the playoffs.
However, New England head coach Bill Belichick is known for his uncanny ability to take your best weapon away from you, and one has to imagine he has something up his sleeve to at least slow down the threat of Jones. You can expect Patriots number one cornerback and Super Bowl 49 hero Malcolm Butler to shadow Julio, but it would be silly to think that the scheme will stop there.

LeGarrette Blount Predictions for SuperBowl LI
Both of these teams have two quietly deadly rushing attacks that do not get nearly the credit that they deserve.
Although the Patriots have made use of three running backs for the majority of the year, it has been LeGarrette Blount that has allowed them to control the clock and ball at will.
James White and Dion Lewis have both had big impacts at certain times this year, but it was Blount who set a new Patriots single season rushing touchdown record with 15.

Only Ezekiel Elliot had more carries this year than Blount, and he should play a big role against they weak rushing defense of the Falcons.
Vic Beasley Predictions for SuperBowl LI
It was a breakout year for the Falcons’ pass rushing specialist in which he led the league in sacks with 15.5. He was also tied for the league lead in forced fumbles with six and had an additional 42 (yes, 42) quarterback hurries.
Everyone knows that it is crucial to get pressure on Tom Brady in order to beat the Patriots, so Vic Beasley will certainly have a role to play in this Super Bowl. Unfortunately for him, he will be matched up against one of the more underrated tackles in the league in Marcus Cannon.
Brady is also one of the best ever at understanding the defense before the snap, and the Patriots are absolute masters with their protection schemes, so Beasley will need help from Dwight Freeney, Tyson Jackson and some blitzing to have a big impact.
Tom Brady Predictions for SuperBowl LI
There is nothing that could be said here that hasn’t already been said about one of the best quarterbacks of all-time. At his age, he has absolutely no excuse playing at such a ridiculously high level, but here he is anyway.
Although he does not have a lot of weapons to choose from in this game, Brady will certainly be expected to do some damage against one of the worst passing defenses in the league. After all, that has never stopped him before, and the Falcons rank 28th against the pass this year. He made Chris Hogan look like Randy Moss through these playoffs.
Plus there is no doubt that he is extra motivated after missing the first four games of the year for his Deflategate suspension. While the rest of us are just thanking God that we never have to hear that term again, Brady is on a revenge mission in this game, and all of New England is behind him.
Matt Ryan Predictions for SuperBowl LI
Matty Ice has been one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL for his entire career. He has always put up staggeringly high numbers, leading a consistently lethal Falcons offense each year. So what it is about this year that has gotten them to the Super Bowl and him a probably MVP?

Two things: Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Through Matt Ryan’s career, the offense has been totally one dimensional and dependent upon him to throw for every yard they gain every point they score. That has not been the case this year, as Freeman and Coleman combined for 2,482 yards from scrimmage and took some of the pressure off of Ryan.
If one or both of the Atlanta running backs can help the Falcons control the clock, expect the Falcons to dictate the pace of the game and Matty Ice to dominate. If not, he will be required to throw them out of trouble as he has for his entire career previously.
