New England never let Kansas City in the game on Saturday as they kept their distance throughout. The Broncos looked horrid for 3.5 quarters, but thanks to a fumble recovery late in the 4th, the Broncos were able to capitalize and secure a spot in the conference championship game.
New England
The defending Superbowl Champions are just one step away from having the chance to defend their title.
New England earned a first round bye and then promptly ended the Chiefs 11 game winning streak as they never let them get close enough to cause danger. It was the work of Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski that really changed he game for them.

Julian Edelman returned from injury and had another 100 yard performance as he helped consistently move the chains for the Pats. TE Rob Gronkowski found the end zone twice the Chiefs simply had no answer for him.
Tom Brady threw for 303 yards and had two touchdowns as the Patriots simply did not need to use their run game. While there are many injuries within their backfield, there were so many questions entering this postseason about if the lack of run game would cost New England. Brady and his arm answered that with ease.
Now New England will look for some revenge as they fell in Denver earlier this season to Brock Osweiler. Things will be different this time around as Peyton Manning is back under center.
Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning looked sluggish and all out of sync in the divisional round game against the Steelers.
He couldn’t get the offense going as he was either over throwing his receivers of under throwing them. Then luck struck the Broncos late in the 4th quarter. The defense forced a fumble and Manning did what he’s done dozens and dozens of times in his career, lead his team to a game winning drive.
Manning drove the Broncos right down the field for the go ahead touchdown that sealed their fate in the AFC Championship.
Manning had jut 222 yards and no touchdowns, but he came up clutch in the 4th when it counted.
Look for the Broncos to use their run game here in this one as CJ Anderson had a phenomenal game against New England when these last two teams met. Anderson had the game winning 51 yard touchdown in overtime and really helped the Broncos control the clock throughout.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: New England ATS
The Broncos are seriously lucky to be playing here. Had they not forced a fumble, odds are they would be at home watching this one.
New England’s offense is completely different with Edelman out wide for Brady. It gives him a legit threat and forces the defense to have to deal with him and Gronk.
The Broncos offense just didn’t look good last week and they’ll certainly have a tough time here against the Pats. Look for them to put a lot of pressure on Manning and really rattle him.
