While Tom Brady remains suspended through week-4, Jimmy Garoppolo enters under center and looked quite competent in his week-1.
Kickoff is set for 4:05PM ET with Garoppolo facing off against a Miami team that looked awful in week-1 and QB Ryan Tannehill who failed to throw a TD in Game-1 in Seattle.
Miami Dolphins
Ryan Tannehill is a big, athletic Quarterback with a decent arm and the potential to be a quality NFL starter.
Bill Lazor’s offense didn’t do him any favors, but with Adam Gase now at the helm he doesn’t have any excuses.

Tannehill had a terrible week-1, completing 16-of-29 passes for just 186 yards and 0 TD.
His offensive line didn’t provide him much help, as he was sacked five times in the game, but he needs to be better if Miami wants to complete for a wildcard spot.
Arian Foster is now 30 years old and has a lengthy injury history, though he enters his Dolphins career with a clean bill of health and the opportunity to carry the workhorse load.

In Game-1, he ran for just 38 yards on 13 attempts and had a fumble, though it was a less than favorable matchup against the Seahawks.
The Dolphins defense looked good, holding the heavy favorites in Seattle to just 6 points for the game and giving their team a chance to win on the road.
They will face another tough task playing in New England and the ever-dangerous Pats team despite Brady being out.
New England Patriots
He wants to be the heir apparent to the legendary QB Tom Brady, and Jimmy Garoppolo might just be making a strong case.
The Pats did invest a 2nd round selection on him to be just that, and he’s has plenty of time to learn from the best.
Garoppolo threw 24 of his 33 passes for completions on the road against a strong Arizona defense in Week-1.
He totaled 264 yards and one TD with no interceptions, and will look to keep his 106.1 QB rating in tact in front of his home crowd.
LeGarrette Blount looked okay in game-1 for New England, rushing for 70 yards on 22 attempts and one TD but also with one fumble. He’ll face another good defense against Miami.

Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan provide two solid wideout targets for Garoppolo, and obviously Rob Gronkowski will be featured if healthy enough to return after missing week-1.
The New England defense should be able to hold off a travelling Miami offense that tallied just three total points in week-1.
NFL Betting Trends:
- Miami went 6-10 in 2015
- Ryan Tannehill has a career QB rating of 85.1
- Since the beginning of 2015, Arian Foster has averaged 2.9 yard per carry in 5 games
- Jimmy Garoppolo now holds a career QB rating of 99.1 in 12 games played since entering the league in 2014
- New England went 7-1 at home last year
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: New England -6 @ -117
I definitely think New England will win at home, especially coming off an strong performance by Garoppolo in Week-1 after an uninspiring pre-season.
I’ll tease just in case Garoppolo regresses from week-1 and get the push in the event of a two FG spread.
NFL Free Score Prediction: New England- 24 Miami-17
Gronkowski would just add another weapon to a potent offense if healthy. Miami looked completely lost on offense in Week-1 and enter a tough road match up in Foxborough.
