The Jets look to return to their early season form as they welcome in the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon.
After a hot start, the Jets have tapered off a bit and took one to chin last time out against the the Raiders.

The Jaguars maybe should consider going overseas more often as they improved to 2-5 with a win over the Bills in London on Sunday morning.
Jacksonville
The Jags finally put an end to their 4 game losing streak as they held on against the Bills for a 34-31 win.
The Jags win over Buffalo gave the London fans all they could handle as they saw Jacksonville blow a giant lead and come back to win in the end. Jacksonville used their defense in the 2nd quarter to propel them to a 27-10 quarter.

QB Blake Bortles struggled, but did deliver when he needed to as he finished with 182 yards on 13 of 29 passing in the contest. After Jacksonville blew their giant lead, Bortles marched the Jags down the field and hooked up with Allen Hurns for a 31 yard touchdown with just 2:15 remaining.
Jacksonville’s key to success will rely on their defense. They showed many flaws in blowing their 27-3 lead against Buffalo and have done that on a consistent basis as they average 29.6 points against this season.
Jacksonville is 0-12 SU in their last 12 away from home. (London game counted as a home game).
New York
The Jets started the season off hot and looked like they could be the surprise team in the NFL this season.
However, after a couple setbacks, they’ve come back to reality and a win over Jacksonville is a must. They almost knocked off Brady and the Pats in Foxbourough, but a Tom Brady touchdown and a Pats defensive stop ended that. After that, they were just picked apart by Oakland and QB Derek Carr.

Things get even more difficult for the Jets this week as Geno Smith will get the call with Ryan Fitzpatrick OUT. Smith replaced Fitzpatrick last week mid game, but the offense just didn’t look the same with him calling the shots.
Defense is also fading for the Jets. After they had forced 15 turnovers from the opposition through their first 5 games, they haven’t forced any during this 2 game losing streak.
Overall, the Jets have seen their points against rise to 19.9 per game. While that remains one of the best in the league, they still have struggled during the past 2 losses.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: New York ATS
While the spread hasn’t been released yet because of the QB situation, it shouldn’t be too high here. The Jets are still in a much better place than the Jags here and should be able to handle them on Sunday.
