Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with QB Matthew Stafford getting the start for the Lions with Brian Hoyer opposing him.
Detroit Lions
Qb Matthew Stafford has had a good start to the season, adjusting to life without future Hall of Fame wideout Calvin Johnson. Last week against the Packers he was 28 of 41 for 385 yards, 3 touchdowns, and one interception.
Look for him to do more of the same against a porous Bears defense.

The running game didn’t get anything going against Green Bay.
Dwayne Washington had 10 carries for 38 yards. He should have an easier time this week against the Bears defense who gave up 140 yards to Ezekiel Elliot.
Marvin Jones Jr. is clearly becoming Matt Stafford’s #1 receiver. He made a number of big plays against the Packers secondary. He caught 6 passes for 205 yards and 2 scores.
This week he should make more plays and get two more touchdowns.
The Lions couldn’t stop the Packers offense last week. Aaron Rodgers carved them up for 4 touchdown passes, and Eddie Lacy had over 100 yards on the ground.
This week going up against the Bears terrific wideouts it may be another tough week for the secondary.
Chicago Bears
Brian Hoyer had two late touchdown passes against the Cowboys, but I still expect a good performance out of him this week.
He will have to put up the ball 40+ times to stay in the game against the Lions offense, but he should be able to continue his strong play.
Jeremy Langford didn’t do much against the Cowboys front seven, as he had only 3 carries for 31 yards. I look for him to bounce back this week against the Lions D.
Jordan Howard should be a threat on the ground and receiving the air. He had over 90 yards rushing and receiving last week. Look for him to get 100 total yards and a score this week.
Zach Miller had 2 touchdowns last week and should be Brian Hoyer’s main target in the red zone. Kevin White should also have a big game as he was targeted 14 times last week.

The Bears defense has been the second worst against the run this year.
I expect the Lions to use the running game to open up the deep passes down the field. The Bears will need to force turnovers in order to keep this game close.

The Lions offense will be clicking on all cylinders in this one, as the Bears defense won’t be able to make enough stops to keep it close.
