What was supposed to be a star studded Sunday Night Football affair will feature nothing but backups as the Saints welcome in the Cowboys.
Dallas will be without QB Tony Romo and WR Dez Bryant who will both miss extended amounts of time with injuries.

The Saints are in no better of a position as they will be without QB Drew Brees once again.
That means we will get a Brandon Weeden vs. Luke McCown matchup here on national TV.
Dallas
The Cowboys knew things clearly wouldn’t be easy after injuries to their two biggest playmakers. WR Dez Bryant and QB Tony Romo, who are typically one of the best duos in the NFL, are both out and that left the game in the hands of Brandon Weeden.
Weeden played fairly well as he finished 22 of 26 for 232 yards and just an interception.

RB Joseph Randle knows he will have a major work load with the key playmakers out and he started that off in a big way on Sunday. Randle rushed for 85 yards on his first 3 carries and that included a 37 yard touchdown run.
However, after that little stint, Randle had just 2 yards on 11 rushes.
WRs Cole Beasley and Lance Dunbar both played extremely well with Weeden tossing to them. Dunbar finished with 100 yards on 10 receptions while Beasley averaged more than 10 yards per catch.
New Orleans
Like the Cowboys, the Saints have their own share of injuries and health problems. QB Drew Brees continues to battle an injured shoulder and will continue to miss time as the Saints take this problem on a week by week basis.
With that, this week the Saints will go with QB Luke McCown. He really played above expectations as he finished with 310 yards on 31 of 38 attempts.
McCown had no touchdowns to his name and threw a pick.

WR Brandon Cooks finished with 79 yards on 7 receptions and looked to be in sync with McCown from the outset. Also playing extremely well was WR Marques Colston who had 47 yards on 4 receptions.
Even RB Mark Ingram got involved as he finished with 4 receptions for 49 yards.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: New Orleans ATS
Both backup QBs looked pretty solid in their debuts. However, at home, the Saints have a solid advantage. Brandon Weedens played well, but the Saints will put pressure on him all night.
