Despite the fact that they have suffered a number of setback the Steelers are primed to compete for a playoff spot.
Kick off is set for 1:00 PM ET with the Steelers needing to be strong and get a victory to stay ahead of the Wild Card Pack in the AFC.
This is yet another lost season in Cleveland and the big question is what do you do with it. Do you play Johnny Manziel and see what you have or do you still try and be as competitive as possible.
All the rhetoric has been about the return to the lineup of Josh McCown, who missed last week with a rib injury.
I know he is not the long term solution but he has played well when in the lineup all season long.
The passing offense is the only thing that has really worked this season – they are second to last in running the ball.
Also, they seem to have hit on Gary Barnidge, who has been in the league since 2008 but doubled his career yardage already this season.
Last season the defense was able to keep the team in more games but it has struggled this season. Paging Mr. Kruger and Mr. Mingo.
You guys out there.
The Browns are in their usual position of not having much direction. However, even a broke clock is right twice a day so you never know.
Considering all of the injury and availability issues they have had it has been pretty amazing that Pittsburgh has stayed afloat.
They are not going to catch the Bengals but they have a good chance of reaching the playoffs.
It looks like this is going to be another game that they are without Big Ben.
That means we are likely to be seeing Landry Jones.
He is more similar in stature to Roethlisberger but not nearly as efficient or able to create the big plays Ben is known for.
The injuries and suspensions have not been as damaging because the Steelers have been much better on defense than expected. They are in the Top 10 in points allowed, which is keeping them in a lot of ball games.
They are also getting some production from some new faces, top pick Bud Dupree is leading the team in sacks thus far.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Pittsburgh ATS
McCown gives them a chance to win but I don’t see it happening on the road against a prideful team like Pittsburgh.
NFL Free Score Prediction: Pittsburgh 27 – Cleveland 17
Look for Jones to be just good enough and the defense to come up big.
