A pair of 2-0 teams meet up here in Week 3 where something has to give for one of them as the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys get set to do battle.
Atlanta comes in off a 24-20 come from behind win against the Giants that involved 2 late touchdowns to seal the win.

The Cowboys defeated the Eagles, but it came at the most costly price possible. QB Tony Romo went down with a broken collarbone which will give Brandon Weeden the call.
Atlanta
Matt Ryan displayed his leadership skills and clutch skills as the Falcons won another nail biter, this time with 2 late touchdowns after trailing for 3 quarters.
Ryan found the endzone to bring the Falcons within 3 and then set up a drive that finished with Devonte Freeman running in from 2 yards out with just 1:14 left.
QB Matt Ryan was 9 of 13 down the stretch of the game and connected with WR Julio Jones for a key 37 yard completion that led to the Freeman touchdown.

Overall, Ryan finished 30 of 46 for 363 yards with a touchdown.
WR Julio Jones was also a key component to the Falcons wins through the first two weeks. Last week, Jones caught 13 passes for 135 yards and as mentioned earlier was on the receiving end of that key 37 yard reception late in the game.
The 13 receptions tied the Falcons’ single game reception record.
Dallas Cowboys
Usually when the Cowboys are getting a ton of national attention it’s because of a key turnover by Tony Romo or something Jerry Jones had done. Well, after a 2-0 start you would think those critics would be quiet.
That however is not the case as the Cowboys are now faced with their biggest challenge in quite some time as QB Tony Romo is OUT with a broken collarbone. Romo went down in the team’s win over Philadelphia in Week 2, which will give the ball to former Cleveland Brown Brandon Weeden.

Clearly not to be overshadowed too, their Week 1 win over New York also came at a price as WR Dez Bryant broke his foot and is out 4-6 weeks. The team’s two main pieces and playmakers will be sidelined for significant time leaving it up to the other veterans to rally the troops and keep the Cowboys in it.
QB Brandon Weeden showed some solid signs of potential after filling in for Romo following his injury as he went 7 of 7 for a touchdown.
With Romo and Bryant down, WR Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley will really need to get themselves going and making plays. Williams has played the better of two through the first couple games as he has collected 153 yards and a touchdown to Beasley’s 63 yards.

Laying a lone point here with a team who is rolling is the best way to go. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones are just completely connecting and dominating secondaries.
