Kick off is set for 4:05 PM ET with QB Matt Ryan getting the start for the Falcons with Trevor Siemian opposing him.
Atlanta Falcons
If you would have told me Matt Ryan threw for over 500 yards in a game, I would have expected it to be Boston College vs Middle School Tech back when he was in the ACC.
He did it against what we thought was a really good Panthers defense.
It was easily the best game of his career and he faces another great defense in Denver. Can he repeat the same success? My gut tells me know as the Denver pass rush has been really good to start the season, but expect a couple of touchdown passes.
Devonta Freeman had great games in weeks 2 and 3 against poor run defenses, but with the passing game as good as it was last week I didn’t expect him to do much.
He still reached the endzone and should find another score in this game.
A lot of people will say Antonio Brown or OBJ are the best receiver in the game, but last week’s performance shows why Julio Jones is the best in the game.

He torched a Panthers secondary for 300 yards receiving, many of the plays looking like he was going up against a high school team.
The day the Falcons traded up to above my Washington team to draft him was the worst draft day of my life, and last week’s game was another reason why.
He should have a good game against a Denver secondary wit 3 really good corners, so expect around 90 yards and a score.
As good as the offense was last week, the Falcons defense was not.
They gave up 300 yards passing to Cam Newton and Derek Anderson (he replaced Newton who had a concussion). If they play the same against Denver it will be a back and forth game all day.
Denver Broncos
Trevor Siemian hasn’t set the world on fire, but he does make John Elway look smart by not overpaying for Brock Osweiler. Last week he suffered a hit that took him out of the game at the end of the first half.
He is considered day to day but if he doesn’t play the rookie Paxton Lynch shouldn’t have problems with the Falcons secondary.
CJ Anderson has not gotten off to a fast start this year. He had only 49 yards last week. Look for him to reach the 100 yard mark against Atlanta.
Demaryius Thomas had a big game against Tampa Bay, as he grabbed a TD for the second week in a row and had 94 yards receiving. Look for him to have another big game this week.

The Denver defense is 2nd against the pass this year and face a tough test against the Falcons. I expect them to get 4 sacks, but give up over 300 yards passing.
