The Badgers are not the elite team they were a year ago but they can put the league on notice if they steal a game at Indiana.

Indiana is currently on a roll but their early play still has us asking questions. They are off to a 2-0 start in league play.
Wisconsin Badgers:
The Badgers are definitely not the team they were a year ago. They have losses to the likes of Western Illinois and Wisconsin-Milwaukee in this season that seems to be all about transition.
Thus far they are 1-1 in Big Ten play with a reasonable loss to Purdue and a home win over Rutgers. This will be their first road test in the league.

This year their styles has been to slow things down as they just do not have the offensive talent they have had the last couple of seasons.
Leading the charge as expected has been Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig. This is Hayes’ year to shine but he has not handled the extra attention all that well. He may be averaging 15ppg but his shooting percentages are pretty ugly.
Koenig’s have also dipped from a year ago. Interestingly Hayes is the team’s assist leader as he looks to do his best Draymond Green impression.
Indiana Hoosiers:
Indiana started the season highly ranked, looking to parlay an elite offense into a B10 title run. Thus far the offense has definitely produced – 4th in scoring – but losses to Wake Forest and UNLV have forced us to question this team.
As mentioned when it comes to scoring few are better. They are balanced too with four averaging between 12 and 17ppg. PG Yogi Ferrell is the catalyst.
Ferrell is having a fine senior season and I expect his numbers to go up as his minutes do in conference play. Same goes for running mate James Blackmon who is averaging 15ppg in just 24 minutes.

Key to their season will be whether frosh big Thomas Bryant is ready to step up. He is making 73% of his shots, which has to come down, but they need him to own the boards and provide defensive intimidation.
If he can do that this team will be tough to beat. He had 19 points and three blocks in their most recent win against Nebraska on the road. Very encouraging.
CBB Betting Trends:
- WIS are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall.
- Over is 13-6 in IND last 19 vs. Big Ten.
- WIS are 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings.
- Road team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
Free CBB Prediction:
Indiana looks like the play at home. I will bank on their scoring winning the day and them pulling away late.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: Indiana ATS
The Hoosiers are a nice playon team when their shots are falling. 6-2 ATS at home.
