Harvard has been the bully in the Ivy League for so long it is hard to imagine then sinking totally out of contention.
Princeton is currently in second place and with a few games left they have a shot at getting that lone regular season champ autobid.
The Tigers smacked the Crimson when they met earlier in the season, ending a 4 game losing streak against them.
Princeton
The Tigers used to dominate the Ivy before Harvard’s recent run of success. They are looking to make the tournament for the first time since 2011.

Due to the fact that there is no tournament they have to make up some ground to catch Yale. A loss against a struggling Harvard squad would definitely be a setback.
Princeton top scorer and rebounder, Henry Caruso, is officially listed as a forward but he is just 6’4″ and 190. He is probably the most improved player in the league this season.
There are a few guys with some size on this team but mostly they are relying on guys like Caruso who can provide a little bit of everything. Such is life in the Ivy where there are not true athletic scholarships.
All three of their final games are against teams with sub .500 conference records so they have a real shot but even a single loss will kill their chances to represent the Ivy.
Harvard
Harvard has enjoyed a lot of success recently, participating in four straight NCAAs under coach Tommy Amaker. That streak will end this season.
The program knew it would be a challenge to maintain that level of success but I don’t think anyone saw the huge dropoff we have seen.
The talent has dropped but they still have one player who is likely to earn all conference honours in Zena Edsomwan. The big is pacing the team with close to a double-double at 13 and 9.
After that though all of the production comes from the perimeter and they just don’t have that player who can really take over a game. That guy who could have maybe played big time ball somewhere else.

A home win would be impressive as Princeton and Yale have really separated themselves this season. They have won two of their last three.

Free Princeton Tigers vs. Harvard Crimson CBB Prediction:
There is a rivalry here as these are usually the top two program in the league but that is not the case this season.
Homecourt is not as meaningful as it is in major college hoops so I don’t see it as enough for the Crimson to steal the game.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: Small Lean Princeton ATS.
Look for Princeton to continue their push to stealing the Ivy’s lone NCAA bid.
