As always, March Madness has not failed to disappoint.
After there were many upsets in the first couple rounds, it was the #1 seeds who continued to dominate all the way to the Elite 8.
However, then the 1 seeds found themselves in a whole heap of trouble as they dropped 1 by 1 until the final chance as the #1 seed in UNC battled to defeat UNC and advance.
The Final Four will feature a #1 seed, two #2 seeds, and a #10 seed, the first one to reach the Final Four in CBB history.
North Carolina Tar Heels 2016 College Basketball Futures Odds 5/7.
This team has really been something else here in March.
This goes all the way back to the ACC tourney as they went through it with no problem and took down another #1 seed in the NCAA tourney in Virginia in the Championship game. The Tar Heels offense has been the main key to victory here in the tourney.

The Tar Heels have scored no less than 83 in their four games as they have been one of the best from behind the arc. UNC has put up performances of 83, 85, 88, and 101.
North Carolina will get the #10 seed in Syracuse, who is a conference foe that gave them fits in both meetings this season, but eventually did enough to secure a pair of wins.
Villanova Wildcats 2016 College Basketball Futures Odds 16/5
Villanova has been right there with the Tar Heels in terms of offense, at least through the first 3 games.
Nova was one of the hottest shooting teams until the Elite 8, when they ran into the overall number 1 seed in Kansas. However, when their offense wasn’t completely there, the defense came up huge. The Wildcats held Kansas to just 59 points, really showing off how good this team can be.
They still will look to turn find their offensive stroke from behind the arc, that has so many weapons. One of those weapons is G Ryan Arcidiacono. The Nova guard averages nearly 10 3 point fields per game.
Their matchup against the #2 seed Oklahoma will come down to defense though. They’ll need to slow down Buddy Hield, who is having a legendary tournament right now.
Duke Blue Devils 2016 College Basketball Futures Odds +1800.
The Blue Devils had to grind through their opening games of the tournament as they took down #13 seed UNC Wilmington and then #12 Yale.
Both games saw Duke in close games down the stretch, but the Yale matchup was quite the scene. Duke led by 23 points before completely blowing it and having to hold off Yale late.
They’ll get the #1 seed Oregon and while it is the #1 seed in the West, Duke matches up well with them both inside and out.
Oklahoma Sooners 2016 College Basketball Futures Odds 7/2.
The Sooners will take on those Wildcats and this team has been led all year long by Buddy Hield and the same can be said here in the NCAA Tournament.
On the season, Buddy Hield has averaged 25.4 points per game to go along with 5.7 rebounds. In the win over #1 Oregon (not technically an upset as they closed as 1 point favorites), Hield finished with 37 points to go along with 4 rebounds.
While his supporting case is really good, it ultimately comes down to him.

This Oklahoma team will can only keep up with the Wildcats if Hield can go off once again.
Best case scenario: A win here could provide a small hedge chance in the finals.
Syracuse Orange 2016 College Basketball Futures Odds 12/1.
Go figure.
The team that everyone criticized for making the tourney, the team everyone said would be NIT bound is in the Final Four.
After falling in the first round of the ACC tourney, the Orange looked destined for the NIT. However, the committee deemed them a #10 seed and this team has not disappointed. They’ve ran through Dayton, MTSU, Gonzaga, and Virginia.
While the path all fell into place for them, they needed to battle and grind against the #1 seed in Virginia. Trailing by 17 in the 2nd half, the Orange came out of nowhere to steal a win.
Syracuse offers the best odds, but goes up against the only #1 seed to advance. If backing the Orange, you obviously get the value, but do they have enough to knock off the top seeds?
