Cleveland will be partaking in the 2nd leg of their back to back as they will be in Detroit on Friday night.
San Antonio
Like Cleveland, the Spurs were absolutely demolished by the Golden State Warriors.
Spurs head coach Greg Popovich even took a shot at Cleveland after the loss to Golden State, which could make for an interesting game here. However, C Tim Duncan was given the night off and while he certainly isn’t worth the 30 points they lost by, it still would have made a giant difference.

That being said, Duncan did make a big difference in the follow up game after the Spurs took out some frustration on Houston. The Spurs routed the Rockets at home 130-99, returning the favor as they looked like they were back to their unbeatable selves.
San Antonio will try to repeat their performance against the Cavaliers back on 1/14 when they knocked off Cleveland 99-95. The Spurs trailed for the entire first half, got back even in the 3rd, and then pulled away in the 4th and held on in the end.
Cleveland
Cleveland finally looked like a complete team in their win over the Suns last time out.
In his 3rd game as head coach, Tyrone Lue finally saw the players adapt to his run and gun kind of offense as they pulled away from the Suns in the 2nd half. Lue is now 2-1 under his new role.
Cleveland now turns their attention to a back to back with Detroit on Friday and then this one against San Antonio. The importance of this one is absolutely astounding, as the failure to win big games costed David Blatt his job.
The Cavs do get the benefit of playing at home in this one. They went into San Antonio, who is still undefeated at home, and nearly took them down. Inside Quicken Loans Arena this season, the Cavs are 18-3 SU.

Free NBA Prediction:
The Cavaliers have yet to win a big game this season and it’s been said plenty throughout this preview and throughout the entire media.
With this being a back to back, things won’t be easy on the fatigue level for Cleveland. Still, look for the Cavaliers to really come out fired up and take down the Spurs as their new offensive style is extremely productive here.
