Miami has completely cancelled out their losing streak and now look for 5 straight when they take on the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.
Miami had dropped 4 straight, but have now won 4 in a row as they are back at full health and have weathered what could have been a season changing losing streak.

Houston has dropped 3 straight themselves and once again sit at the .500 mark, a place they have been flirting with all season long.
Miami
The Heat lean on Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade consistently. The duo, along with other members of the Heat have continued to battle injuries and now it looks as if they’ve finally overcame all the troubles and are playing some of their best basketball of the season.
The lone question mark health wise remains Hassan Whiteside, who continues to battle a back injury. He is still working his way back and is now QUESTIONABLE for Tuesday.

Winners of 4 in a row, the Heat look to build off a route of Atlanta 105-87.
Miami has now jumped into 4th place in the East sitting 8 games back of first place Cleveland. The Heat are also tied with Chicago for the 3rd spot.
Miami defeated Houston 109-89 back on 11/1.
Houston
In their loss to Miami back on 11/1, Dwight Howard sat out, which paved way for Hassan Whiteside to really dominate the paint.
Howard has been battling injuries himself all season long, but has recovered from his latest ankle injury. Rockets head coach J.B. Bickerstaff took out some frustrations on the refs after last game, defending Howard, saying he gets punished more than anybody in the league.
The Rockets as a team are extremely frustrated after losing 3 straight as their defense has completely disappeared. Houston is allowed an average of 123 points over the past 3 losses as things have taken a turn for the worst.
The one thing that hasn’t taken a turn has been James Harden and his stellar play. The Rockets star has put in 33 or more points in 3 of his last 4 games.
NBA Betting Trends:
- Heat are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 vs. NBA Southwest.
- Heat are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points.
- Heat are 2-11 ATS in their last 13 Tuesday games.
- Rockets are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games playing on 2 days rest.
- Rockets are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
- Rockets are 35-16 ATS in their last 51 Tuesday games.
Free NBA Prediction:
While these two teams are playing at very different levels right now, the Rockets really need to turn things around right now.
They’re playing horrid defense and with the exception of Harden, nobody is really stepping up.
Look for Howard to play a major role here and dominate the paint as the Rockets grab a home win and cover the number.
