Game four was another sloppy game with Miami winning in overtime. That’s three out of four so far if you are keeping track.
Neither of the team’s top bigs played in this one and as this is being written it is not clear if they will in this one either.
This is an absolute must win for the Raptors. They are going to need to have a short memory.
Miami Heat
I have to admit I never thought Dwyane Wade was at that true elite status but watching him in this series has been impressive. Seemingly every time they need him to come up with a winning play he is able to do so.
Now the story is that he does not get along with Dragic. Of course the coach is saying all the right things but it is probably true. Other than being teammates what do those guys have in common. The question is whether it will affect their play at all.

It will be up to that duo primarily because Hassan Whiteside is out and they cannot expect much from the interior duo of Amare Stoudemire and Udonis Haslem.
As the series has progressed Josh McRoberts has become a factor though. This series has been ugly so having a guy that can truly give you a little everything is a big benefit.
It would also be a benefit if they could get just one really good game from Luol Deng. Points have been hard to come by in the series and he has yet to have even one game with more than a dozen
In a 2-2 series game five is pivotal. The Heat are on the road looking to steal the game like they did in G1.
Toronto Raptors
Toronto had a chance to really take control of the series but lost in overtime in game four. Sadly it was a familiar script of their top guys not being able to get it done.
After a superb game three Kyle Lowry was off once again in G4. Even though he has not shooting it well they need him on the floor so when he fouled out the team was in big trouble. You want your starting PG out there in OT in the playoffs.
DeMar DeRozan might have had one of his worst stat lines as a pro. His shooting was off which is why he scored just 9 points but he also had no assists, steals or blocks. Essentially he was a zero and they can’t win with him like that.
Jonas Valanciunas is out for the series and his presence was missed big time. Bismack Biyombo was really good in relief but when it came down the stretch they needed a good scoring option and he is just not that kind of player.
The Raptors have a great home environment and their reserves always play better at home. Terrence Ross has been a great source of offense in this series and I wonder if they might want to put him into the starting lineup.
Jason Thompson is nothing special but I wonder if they might want to start him too.

Let him pick up those fouls that accrue early as the players feel out the game and then let Biyombo play the majority of the minutes thereafter.
They need Biyombo out there as much as possible but he doesn’t have to start.
The pressure shifts to the Toronto side now. They have to win this one. In a similar situation they beat Indiana last series.

Free Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors NBA Prediction:
With three games going to overtime this series has obviously been pretty tight. This one feels like a game where the Raptors won’t need overtime to prove they are the better team. Back Toronto at home, they will pull away and cover too.
