Brooklyn has dropped 4 of their last 6 after getting smacked around by the Golden State Warriors 114-98.
Houston:
The Rockets Kevin McHale was the first casualty to go when Houston stumbled out of the gate.
However, that move may have been for the best as the Rockets have greatly improved under J.B. Bickerstaff. The Rockets have won 3 straight and are just 1 game under .500 mark as they knocked off the Kings 120-113 last time out.

Houston got off to a fast start as they led by 13 at the end of one and never looked back. Even though they did allow 113 points, they got some keep stops down the stretch of the game and have drastically improved defensively under Bickerstaff.
C Dwight Howard continues to get himself going and back to 100% as he comes in off one of his best performances of the season. Howard had 22 points and 18 rebounds in the win over Sacramento and shut down DeMarcus Cousins of the Kings.
Houston fell to Brooklyn back on Nov. 11 106-98.
Brooklyn:
Even though the Nets beat the Rockets back on Nov. 11, this team really hasn’t been a threat to anybody.
This Nets team has just 5 wins and is struggling on both ends of the floor as they were dropped by 16 points to the Warriors last time out. Brooklyn averages just 95.6 points per game this season, which ranks 28th in the NBA.

Things don’t get any better for them defensively either. Brooklyn is allowing 102.8 points per game.
Brooklyn is also at the bottom of the 3 pointers made list as well. The Nets sit dead last in the NBA with just 4.7 three pointers made per game. Overall on the season, the Nets have shot just 29.6 percent from behind the 3 point arc.
F Thaddeus Young has been the lone bright spot for this Nets team. He’s recorded a double-double in 8 of the last 11 games.
