This is a game the Atlanta Hawks have been waiting several long months for, after being swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference finals a year ago. Both sides were dealing with a litany of injuries at that time, and now the Hawks hope to give the Cavaliers a better shot.

However, both teams are dealing with a slew of injuries once again. Cleveland will be without three of its starters, while the Hawks will be without top guard Jeff Teague when they playing the defending Eastern Conference champs.
Atlanta Hawks:
Teauge has missed the last three game. On the season, he’s averaging 17.1 points and 6.5 assists, but is now dealing with a left ankle sprain. Dennis Schroder is playing in his place and averaging 13.7 points and 8.3 assists.

Atlanta put an end to a three-game losing streak its last time out, beating the Sacramento Kings 103-97 at home on Wednesday. Paul Millsap had 23 points to go along with a season-high 16 rebounds as he put up his sixth double-double of the season.
Cleveland Cavaliers:
LeBron James averaged 30.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists during last season’s series with the Hawks in a memorable performance without Kevin Love and without Kyrie Irving for two of those games. Irving hasn’t suited up at all this season, and Timofey Mozgov and Mo Williams are the other two Cavaliers starters that will miss this game.

Mozgov is dealing with a strained shoulder and could miss up to two weeks, while Williams will miss a second consecutive game with a right ankle injury. Matthew Dellavedova made his first start of the year in Williams’ place and scored seven points with a career-high 13 assists.

Free NBA Prediction:
Both sides are dealing with some injuries in this one, and that’s going to mean points will be difficult to come by as each team works with less than ideal starting rotations, and elite scoring options watch this one from the bench.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Under 199
There will also be a playoff-like feel to this matchup, as both teams remember the events of their meeting in the conference finals a year ago. The Hawks will be particularly motivated given the way last year’s series shook down, and they won’t be allowing any free points in this one.
