The Cavs and Bucks meet up on a Tuesday night in the 4th and final meeting between these division rivals, with Cleveland looking to secure home court through the Eastern Conference Finals and the Bucks looking to carry some positive momentum into the end of the season.
The two teams are coming into this one on opposite trajectories. Cleveland comes in to this one having won 6 of their last 8, while the Bucks have lost 6 of their last 8.
Cleveland is currently leading the season series 2-1, but lost the last meeting in Milwaukee in a double overtime thriller. Both teams have managed to score 100 points or more in every meeting this season, so this should be a shootout.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Cleveland in in the midst of a 3 game winning streak and is preparing themselves for another extended playoff run, so they should be looking forward facing teams like the Bucks as they march ever closer to the finish line.

LeBron James has had his best stuff against their division foe this season, totalling 90 points on offense and producing a triple slash line of 30/9/6.3 on 53.4% shooting.
Cleveland has been the league’s 3rd best road team this season, registering a 23-15 record. This win total is only behind the Warriors and Spurs among the leagues best road warriors.
The starters have been especially dangerous over the last couple weeks as James, Love, Irving and Smith have combined to average 76.7 points per game over that stretch.
Milwaukee Bucks
Things haven’t gone quite the way the Bucks envisioned them this season after spending big money on Greg Monroe in free agency and looking forward to the return of previous #2 overall pick Jabari Parker, but if one positive can be taken away from this season it is the dominant post All-Star break numbers being put up by their third year forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Since the break, Jason Kidd has installed the Greek Freak as the team’s full time point guard (an unheralded piece of strategy considering his 6’11 frame) to unbelievable results.
Since being handed the keys to the offense, his averages of 18.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists, with 1.5 steals and 1.9 blocks are the sort of numbers that are typically reserved for superstars.
To put that into perspective, LeBron James has never even had a season where all those benchmarks were reached simultaneously. We are witnessing the development of one of the league’s great players.

Unfortunately, Antetokounmpo’s individual brilliance has not led to team success. The team has gone 7-10 in March and four of those wins have come against teams with poorer records than their own.
The Bucks could be shorthanded tonight as both 6th man Jerryd Bayless and their other stud forward, Khris Middleton, are both questionable to suit up tonight. Losing Middleton will drastically reduce their efficiency behind the arc.
A big disadvantage for a team that already hits the league’s second fewest 3 point field goals per game.
Milwaukee has actually been a good home team this season, fighting their way to a 23-16 record but they have struggled mightily against their division, only securing a 4-10 record to date.
