Two teams really trying to right the ship meet inside the Staples Center on Thursday as the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers meet.
The Lakers have dropped 7 straight as they’ve gone back to their youthful inexperienced play as of late.

The Bulls have had one of the most inconsistent months after winning 4 straight games to start the month. Chicago just hasn’t been able to build off any of the momentum they’ve gotten from wins.
Chicago
Chicago started the month off with 4 straight wins and it looked like this would be a top tier team in the Eastern Conference for sure.
However, since they’v gone just 3-7 and have no answer on the defensive end. And when they do finally get a solid defensive performance, their offense seems to disappear.

That was the case in the last game as they held Miami to just 89 points, but ended up scoring just 84 themselves in a 5 point loss. The Bulls shot just 40% from the field and hit only 5 of 18 three pointers attempted. Chicago has scored 102 points per game this season, which raises a giant red flag as to what has happened with their offense.
The Bulls fell fell inside the Staples Center the last time these two teams met back in 2015. They allowed the Lakers to put up 123 points in a 123-118 loss.
L.A.
When you’re really struggling for wins, things tend to really go against you.
That was the case on Tuesday as Dirk Nowitzki hit a fade away from the corner with just 2 seconds to go in front of the Lakers bench to secure a 2 point win. The loss marked the 7th straight defeat for Los Angeles as this team just simply hasn’t had it as of late.
All things considered though, the Lakers have to be happy about their defensive performance in the loss to Dallas. Prior to that during their losing streak, the Lakers lowest point total allowed was 108 points.
Bryant sat out Tuesday’s loss and is expected to be back on Thursday for this one. He’ll look to provide a spark to this offense that averages only 95.2 points per game at home this season.

Free NBA Prediction:
The Lakers played a lot better on Tuesday as they shut down a Mavericks team that has a lot of scoring threats.
However, they have their own scoring problems themselves. Look for Chicago to really dominate the paint and exploit the Lakers youth here.
