Gamblers…ready for NASCAR STP 500 Odds betting? NASCAR’s Sprint Cup series returns east to Martinsville Speedway from a week off following a three-race West Coast swing for the running of the STP 500. Sunday’s race is set to get underway at 1 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on FOX Sports.
Sprint Cup – NASCAR STP 500 Odds
Race: STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway
Date: Sunday, April 3
Time: 1 p.m. (ET)
Broadcast: FOX Sports
The last time the Sprint Cup series was tearing around the track, Jimmie Johnson posted his second point-race victory of the season with a win at Fontana in typical fashion as a native Californian. Kevin Harvick ended-up second in that race and Denny Hamlin once again rounded-out the Top 3.

The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday’s race based on betting odds provided by TopBetTopBet.eu.
NASCAR STP 500 Odds – The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)
It has been a blistering start for Denny Hamlin through the first five point-race events of the 2016 Sprint Cup season.
After squeezing-out an improbable victory in the Daytona 500 by the slightest of margins, the No. 11 car has now finished third in its last two runs around the track.
That performance alone adds some serious value to Hamlin’s +650 betting odds to win this Sunday as one of two third-favorites on TopBet’s betting board.

The main reason that I love him as my top favorite this week is an 8.0 average finishing position at Martinsville on the strength of five career victories; including last year’s first-place finish in this race.
NASCAR STP 500 Odds -The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)
Sometimes you get a feeling about a certain driver and that is the case with this week’s top contender Kurt Busch.
While his younger brother Kyle has been basking in the limelight as the defending Sprint Cup Champ, he has been quietly going about his business behind the wheel of the No. 41 car with four Top-10 finishes this season including a fourth-place run at Atlanta earlier in the year.
Busch has been listed at +1500 betting odds to win on Sunday and while Martinsville has not been one of his favorite tracks in the past, he did win this race in 2014.
NASCAR STP 500 Odds -The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)
My infatuation with the up and coming stars of NASCAR continues this week with Chase Elliott my top longshot pick at hefty +3300 odds.
Taking over for Jeff Gordon as the full-time driver of the No. 24 car, the rookie has made steady progress since taking the Pole at Daytona with three Top-10 runs in his next four Sprint Cup events.
I was impressed with his six-place finish two weeks ago at Fontana after placing eighth at Phoenix in his previous race.
This week’s STP 500 was actually one of five events Elliott ran last year in the No. 25 car. With a new car and new team by his side, I am obviously expecting much better things this time around then his 38th-place finish in that race.
