Prior to last week’s open date in the Sprint Cup 2016 schedule, Denny Hamlin picked up his second win of the season at Watkins Glen with Joey Logano taking second and Brad Keselowski finishing third.
The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Saturday night’s race at Bristol based on betting odds provided by MyBookie.
2016 NASCAR Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race Odds: The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)
With just four events left until the start of the Chase, Joey Logano has worked his way into solid shape to make a run at this year’s title.
The second-place finish at Watkins Glen moved him to sixth in the current Sprint Cup standings with 652 points and his previous win this season at Michigan has him firmly in the mix of the 16 drivers that will qualify for the 10-race playoff.

Logano could only manage a 10th-place finish in the first race at Bristol this season, but the real boost to the value in his +800 odds to win this race is back-to-back victories in the past two NRA Night Races around this short track.
2016 NASCAR Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race Odds: The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)
There are always plenty of good reasons to go with Kyle Busch to win any NASCAR race he runs as a usual favorite, but the top value as a contender this week goes to his older brother Kurt Busch at +1200 betting odds.
Driving the No. 41 Chevrolet, he has been able to work his way up to third place in the standings with 698 points on the strength of 16 Top 10 runs that includes a win at Pocono in early June as well as five other runs inside the top five.

One of those Top 5 finishes came earlier in the season at Bristol behind Carl Edwards and Dale Earnhardt Jr. in third place.
Earlier in his Sprint Cup career, Kurt ran off an amazing string of four victories in five races at Bristol from 2002 to 2004.
2016 NASCAR Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race Odds: The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)
There are a number of drivers still battling it out for one of the 16 spots in the Chase including Kyle Larson, who is sitting in 15th place right now with 520 total points.
His odds to break through with a win this week to seal a place in the playoffs have been set at +2500 and I like the value in that number as a longshot.
The No. 42 Chevrolet has been right in the mix lately with a fifth-place run at Indianapolis and a sixth-place finish at the second race at Pocono in late July.
His best finish in a Sprint Cup race at Bristol in five previous events was seventh in the first race here last season.
