The Hokies come in with a 4-5 record after knocking off Boston College last week 26-10.
As for Georgia Tech, they now need to win out if they hope to make a postseason bowl game as they fell to Virginia last week.
Virginia Tech
The Hokies will look to send head coach Frank Beamer out the way it started, with a post season bowl birth. Beamer’s Hokies team has made a bowl game for 22 straight years. That is in a bit of danger this season as they need 2 wins over their last 3 games to do so.
Beamer announced he will be stepping down after this season, as he has really made his mark on the Hokies program.

If the Hokies hope to grab win number 5 on Thursday night, they’ll need QB Michael Brewer to really step up. Brewer has thrown for 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the 3 games he’s played since breaking his collar bone against Ohio State week one.
Expect Brewer to try and find WR Isaiah Ford, who is leading the team right now in receiving. Ford has caught 44 passes for 615 yards and found the end zone 7 times this season. He’s also holding a streak that has seen him catch at least 2 passes in all 22 of his career games played.
The Hokies defense will also look to build off a solid showing last week. They allowed just 218 yards of total offense to Boston College and forced 4 turnovers in the process.
Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jackets have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NCAA this season. After starting the season a Top 25 team, they were expected to compete with the top tier of the ACC.
However, things have gone far off course as they now need wins in their final 3 games just to become bowl eligible.

After upsetting Florida State and ruining their chances at the BCS Playoff, the Yellow Jackets had a back breaking loss to Virginia 27-21. QB Justin Thomas leads an offense that averages 267.2 rush yards per game, but needs to be more consistent with his passing.
Thomas has completed just 43.6 percent of his passes on the season.
Expect a giant impact from freshman Clinton Lynch, who played his best game of the season. Lynch had 132 all purpose yards and found the end zone three times. Expect him to get a lot of carries against the Hokies defense on Thursday.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Prediction
This should be a lower scoring game here. Both offenses do have the potential to move the ball, but they both like to use clock and keep the clock ticking.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Under
Both teams establish the run game early on and this turns into a close, low scoring affair that could go either way.
