The Oregon Ducks host this one coming off a 61-28 win over the Georgia State Panthers, while the Utes travel once again after a 45-24 road victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs last week.
Oregon is an 11.5-point favoring with the contest approximately two days away.
Utah Utes
The Utes have begun their season strong, going 3-0 on the year. They also covered the spread in last week’s win as an 11-point favorite, but now they will have to work with being the underdog against one of the nation’s most dangerous offenses.

Against Fresno State, Utah took to the ground and outperformed its opponent in that category to the tune of 221 yards to 124.
The team was able to maintain possession for 37 minutes, which is a category to look out for against an Oregon offense that is averaging an impressive 50 points per contest throughout the first three weeks of the season.

The Utes began their year with a seven-point victory over Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines, covering the five-point spread that was in their favor. In Week 2, the squad defeated in-state opponent Utah State, but was unable to cover the 11-point spread.
Oregon Ducks
The Oregon Ducks should be back to full health in Week 4, at least as far as their quarterback is concerned.
Vernon Adams Jr., the team’s prized offseason acquisition, sat last week against the Georgia State Panthers with a broken finger, and while Jeff Lockie proved to be a viable band-aid solution, the team is ready to get its starter back with hopes of a second-straight College Football Playoff appearance in mind.

So far this season, Oregon is just 1-2 ATS, but that has more to do with the massive spreads we’ve seen given to them and less to do with their actual play on the field.
It’s true that quarterback play needs to be more consistent and the secondary is still has a tendency to give up the big play, but overall, this squad looks good thus far — just not good enough to cover 40-plus-point spreads early in the year.

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Prediction
Give this one to the Oregon Ducks, and give it to them by more than the 11.5-point spread they’ve been given at this point.
Utah is a good team and will challenge the Ducks early in the contest, but when it’s all said and done, Oregon has too much talent on offense and should get this game by at least two touchdowns.
