Purdue heads into Wisconsin for a Big 10 match up where they are the HUGE netting underdogs and with good reason sitting at 1-5. The Boilermakers put up a good fight against a top 10 Michigan State team 2 weeks back before being crushed last week 41-13 at the hands of Minnesota.
Wisconsin got over their 2nd loss of the season with a solid 23-21 win over Nebraska last week. They are bunched with 4 other teams sitting at 1-1 in the Big West Division, but their lone loss was to Iowa, who is 2-0 in division play.

Wisconsin does not have a dynamic offense, but they are solid and will face a Purdue defense that only ranks 100th in the nation.
Purdue
Purdue fell apart on defense last week in their blowout loss to Minnesota and if they play D like that again they will get crushed in this game.
They do not have a great offensive attack and while their passing offense is better than their rushing one freshman QB David Blough has 4 INT in his last 2 games and he has more picks than TD on the season.
One big question for Purdue is which Markell Jones will show up?
The RB had 157 rushing yards in the narrow loss to Michigan State, but in the Minnesota game he rushed for 7 yards and in the game previous to MSU he rushed for 19.
He has to have a good game to slow the pace of the game and if Purdue relies on Blough to move the chains they are in trouble.
Wisconsin ranks 21st in the nation defending the pass and 22nd defending the run.

Purdue has lost 9 straight games to Wisconsin since last beating them in the 2003 season.
Wisconsin
Wisconsin is known as a team that runs the ball, but they have only rushed for over 200 yards in 1 game this season.
Dare Ogunbowale and Taiwan Deal have each rushed for over 350 yards on the season and they should be able to pad those stats in this game facing a Boilermakers’ run defense that ranks 110th in the nation.
QB Joel Stave has a solid WR corps and he has been decent this season, but not great. He has not passed for over 1 TD in his last 4 games, but in that span he only has 2 picks, which came in the loss to Iowa.

Purdue needs to hold onto the ball in this game and in 5 of their 6 games on the season they have at least 3 turnovers.

4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Wisconsin ATS
The Badgers defense will dominate and their offense will not be stopped facing a weak Purdue defense that gave up over 400 yards last week in the loss to Minnesota.
