After making headlines against Oregon last week, the Washington State Cougars come into this matchup with Oregon State riding the high and hoping to carry that momentum into the back half of their schedule.

Oregon State, on the other hand, took a 44-7 beating at the hands of the Arizona Wildcats. They are looking to bounce back with a big win against the one-dimensional Cougs.
Oregon State
Freshman quarterback Seth Collins failed to throw a touchdown last week, the first time this season he hasn’t reached paydirt all season. On the season, he’s 60 of 119 for 637 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Surprisingly, he enters this game as the team’s leading rusher as well, going for 362 yards and 4 scores on 67 attempts.
The team’s usual leading rusher, Storm Woods, is close behind Collins, amassing 322 yards and a score on 56 carries. He also has 8 grabs for 115 yards. Leading the team in receiving is Jordan Villamin, who has 20 catches for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns.

On defense, the Beavers strength is the Cougars strength and could be interesting to see what happens when they clash. While the Cougars are posting 396 yards per game through the air, Oregon State is only giving up 177 pass yards per game, tops in the conference.
Rommell Mageo is leading defense in tackles, with 41. He’s also tallied 2 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, an interception, 2 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
As a whole the defense has 19 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 5 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and a blocked kick. They have only allowed three passing touchdowns this season as a unit as well.
Washington State
Pullman is still buzzing after Washington State’s biggest win in years. True, it was against a less than stellar Oregon squad, but it knocked the powerhouse in the Pac-12 North down another notch, which even in-state rival Washington is happy about.
The story of the season has been the continued improvement of quarterback Luke Falk. In last week’s double overtime win against Oregon, Falk completed 50 passes for 505 yards and 5 scores.
His quarterback efficiency on the season is a whopping 147.81 with a stat line of 196 for 275 passing for 1,964 yards, 15 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He also has three touchdowns via the ground.
The receiving corp has 7 players with more than 10 receptions with Gabe Marks leading them all with 43 for 525 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Dom Williams has 25 grabs for 368 yards and 4 scores and River Cracraft has 29 grabs for 355 yard and 2 touchdowns.

The running game has been practically non-existent this season, but could play a part in this one, as they could counter the Beavers pass defense and make a run at their poor rush defense.
Gerard Wicks will be looking to capitalize on that, and add to his 219 yards and 1 score on the year.
As a unit, the Cougar defense has racked up 358 tackles, 44 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, 4 interceptions, 11 pass break ups, 7 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries, and 2 blocked kicks.
Ivan McClennan and Kache Palacio are leading the team with 4 sacks a piece while Marcellus Pippins is leading with 2 interceptions, and Shalom Luani is leading with 2 forced fumbles.
