The Sooners and Wildcats both come off gut wrenching losses and are looking to rebound Saturday afternoon.
Oklahoma came in as 17 point favorites against the Longhorns in the Red River shoot out and was beaten outright.

As for Kansas State, they had their chance to take out #3 TCU, but a couple poor timed turnovers resulted in their dismay.
Oklahoma
The Sooners knew coming into Saturday’s match up they would get Texas’ A game. The Longhorns have been nothing short of terrible this season and knew they would treat this game like a championship and get up for it.
They did just that an Oklahoma failed to come back from down 14 in the 4th quarter as they lost the game outright 24-17.

QB Baker Mayfield started the game off extremely slow and was on edge all day, but has still turned in a solid performance this season. Mayfield has tossed 14 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions on the season.
While Mayfield struggled in the game against Texas he still finished with a completion percentage of nearly 72% and did not turn the ball over via the pass.
The loss was Oklahoma’s first of the season, which has put them in a very outside chance at even thinking about the BCS Playoff.
Kansas St.
Kansas State has shown at times they can be exposed by anybody. On other occasions, like last Saturday, they’ve shown they can compete with the best.
Finding that level on a consistent basis has been the hardest thing for the Wildcats and they even showed that in the loss to TCU. Kansas State absolutely dominated the first half, but got back into their old ways of struggling to move the ball, playing confused, and simply forcing the issue.

QB Joe Hubener had his best of game the season last week and will try to build off of that. Hubener finished with 111 rushing yards and 4 TDs against the Horned Frogs. The dual threat QB has 826 passing yards to go along with 4 passing touchdowns as well on the season.
Adding to the running game are RBs Justin Silmon and and Charles Jones, who have combined for 5 touchdowns on the season.
The big play has been the killer for the Wildcats’ defense. They allowed plays of 86,69,55, and 32 against TCU that resulted in touchdowns.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Prediction
Both teams will surely have a bit of a hangover effect here. After wins they both needed and wanted and should have had, both come in empty handed.

The offenses come out a bit flat and should result in a low scoring game.
