North Illinois crazy road trip continues as they head south to take on USF Saturday night.

NIU went west to Wyoming to start the season off and then was forced to fly cross country to take on the Bulls here.
NIU Huskies
It took about until 4:00 am EST time last week to complete the Huskies season opener.
After all that, they even managed to lose to Wyoming in 3 overtimes as it turned into a long flight back for NIU. The loss put them at 0-1, as they hit a minor speed bump in their quest to get to a bowl game for the 9th straight season.

The game was incredibly sloppy for the Huskies, as they missed plenty of chances to put points on the board and simply did not make things easy on themselves.
The silver lining from the loss came from WR Kenny Golladay. Not only did he prove he can go up and grab a pass, but he also showed off his running abilities.
Golladay finished with 144 yards on 10 passes while rushing for 82 and adding another TD.
Look for the Huskies to get him plenty of touches here, as they need him to make plays to have any chance in this one.
USF Bulls
USF had zero issues to open their season, but could be without their biggest weapon here in Week 2.
RB Marlon Mack is listed as questionable with concussion like symptoms, as he hopes to be at 100% and build off his impressive start to the season.
Mack was the single season rushing leader for the Bulls last year, but was knocked out of the season opener. Should he not be able to go, QB Quinton Flowers will be asked to do a lot.

Flowers has plenty of weapons around him and was really clutch when it came to making the big play last week. He’ll be asked to use his arm and legs here, especially with Mack questionable.
The Bulls have won 2 of the 3 matchups against the Huskies, with the latest coming in 2009.
The Bulls have the advantage here as they are much stronger and can wear this defense down. Look for them to get into manageable 3rd down situations and use Flowers to either run wide or some sort of option play.

Free Week 2 NCAA Football Prediction
The Huskies must find a way to get out to an early lead.
After all the traveling they’ve done, getting into an early hole could end up turning into a mind game and really messing with the Huskies confidence.

USF is going to really wear this Huskies team down. Look for them to pull away in the 2nd half here and cover the number.
