As for Middle Tennessee State, they knocked off Charlotte in their Week 3 contest as they racked up 70 points.
Kick off is set for 4:00 PM EST on ESPNews.
Middle Tennessee
The Blue Raiders offense is clicking on all cylinders and is ready to give the Big 10 defense a run for it’s money.
Middle Tennessee notched the 70 point mark for the 2nd time this season and have one of the most dangerous offenses in the nation. The other occasion came in Week 1 when they dropped 70 on Jackson State.

The Blue Raiders ranked 17th in the nation in total offense as they’re averaging 525 yards.
QB Brent Stockstill who has 369 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season. Also dominating for the Blue Raiders offense is RB Josh Ferguson who has 248 yards and 3 touchdowns on the season.
Illinois
The Fighting Illini started the season off 2-0 and look as if maybe they would be a competitor in the Big 10 this year.
However, they suffered a major setback against their first true opponents as they were smacked around by UNC. Illinois was dominated in every aspect of the game as they were routed 48-14. This comes after they were outscoring opponents 96-3 through their first two games.
[dfads params=’groups=219&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Expect a solid bounce back from the Illini defense who struggled and was exposed for the first time this year. They have 6 interceptions already which is just 1 shy of 7 which was their total in 2014.
The main problem thus far for Illinois has been their receiving core and the amount of dropped passes.
Illinois has dropped a total of 21 this season with 9 of those coming in the loss to UNC.
