The Hawkeyes have a pretty light close to their schedule as compared to some other undefeated teams. Even if they do have a target on their back.
Minnesota will probably have to play one of their best games of the season to stay in this one. Thought they did play TCU pretty close in the opener.
The Gophers are going to be hard pressed to qualify for a bowl game this season. They have four wins right now but might be underdogs in all three of their remaining games. Still they can be a spoiler this week.
They have lost three in a row heading into this one and all season long they have struggled to really establish an offense. They are below average both running and throwing the ball.
QB Mitch Leidner has not really progressed this season. His numbers are about the same and his inconsistency holds back an attack that is not blessed with a lot of standout athletes.
When they faced TCU they were able to stay in the game because they really limited the Horned Frogs on offense. It helped to have the whole summer to prepare though and it was week 1.
Iowa is not as dynamic but they certainly have things going right now.
The Hawkeyes are very near the finish line of their perfect season. They may be up only one game on Wisconsin in the standing but since they beat the Badgers it is kind of like two.
I have to admit I am still not sold on this being one of the top teams in America but you can’t argue with the record.
The strongest part of the team has been the defense. They really shut down the running game and put you in situations where they can make you do what you don’t to.
On offense they are more steady than spectacular and they have not had to play too much catchup this season. QB C.J. Beathard has yet to have a 300 yard game and his numbers overall are not great.
Even though many question the true level of Iowa there is no doubt they should win this one.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Prediction
I want to back the Gophers but they are tough to like much at the moment. Their coaching situation doesn’t help either.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Iowa ATS
The Hawkeyes have proven to be quite good at wearing out opponents and ultimately getting them to submit. This looks like one of those situations.
