The Maryland Terrapins were able to improve their conference record to .500 last week with a win at home against the Michigan State Spartans.
The Indiana Hoosiers are in desperate need of a win after dropping three consecutive games in a row, including a 24-14 loss to the Northwestern Wildcats last weekend.

After racing off to a 3-1 record, Indiana now has a horrible 1-3 record in the Big Ten East division.
The Hoosiers were able to come away with a 47-28 victory when these two school met up last season.
Maryland Terrapins
Senior quarterback Perry Hills was back in action last week against Michigan State, throwing for two scores and 200 yards on 21 of 27 attempts.
He has missed some time due to injury this season, but is completing 66.4 percent of his passes this year for 822 yards, has found the end zone on 10 different occasions, and has only been picked off twice.
It didn’t take much for the senior to make a difference in the game. His presence alone was enough to create some extra space for the Maryland running backs.

The Terrapins found themselves trailing 17-14 early in the 4th, but were able to rip off 14 unanswered points to wrap things up.
Maryland did give up a turnover in the game, but the offense managed to rack up 200 yards through the air to go along with the 247 they had on the ground.
The Terrapin defense is holding their opponents to an average of 366 yards per game with 192 of them coming on the ground to go along with 20.6 points per contest
Indiana Hoosiers
The Indiana Hoosiers looked great in the second half last weekend against the Northwestern Wildcats, chewing away a total of 283 yards.
The only problem is that it wasn’t enough to overcome the 24-3 deficit they went into the locker room at half time with.
Quarterback Richard Lagow finished the game with 319 yards, but also threw two costly interceptions. Wide receiver Nick Westbrook was his favorite target of the game, hauling in 10 catches for 126 receiving yards.

The Hoosiers were unable to muster up any kind of attack on the ground, running the ball 27 times for a total of just 84 yards.
It has been a repeating issue for Indiana this season and they have only been able to average a total of 139 rushing yards per game.
The Hoosiers have slowly but surely been making improvements on defense and are now giving up an average of 377.6 yards a contest.
Lagow has been able to put up an impressive 1,975 passing yards and 12 touchdowns, but on the flip side he has also thrown 11 interceptions.

Free Week 9 NCAA Football Prediction
The Indiana Hoosiers were able to get off to a quick start this season, but they have quickly found out just how difficult it is to win in the Big Ten without an effective running game.
The Terrapins on they other hand should be able to run all over an Indiana defense that has not been able to do anything against the run.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Maryland +5
I like the Terrapins and the points in this one. I would not be surprised at all if the Hoosiers are able to come out on top straight up, but I do not see them doing enough to cover the points.
