The #9 team in the nation opens up against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks Saturday afternoon inside Sanford Stadium.
The Bulldogs welcome the sight of the Warhawks here in Week 1 to figure out their QB situation.
The highlight of the matchup will be RB Nick Chubb, who begins his quest for the 2015 Heisman Trophy.

This game will be 1 of the 8 away games the Warhawks are playing in 2015. They mark the only FBS team to be playing 8 road contests in 2015.
Kick off is set for high noon.
Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks
The Warhawks keep it no secret what their offensive strategy is. In 2014, they rushed for just 834 yards total which means they will rely heavily on their potent passing game.
Leading that charge will be Freshman QB Garret Smith. While Smith will be taking his first snap against one of the toughest defenses in the nation, he’ll still have a compliment of top receivers to work with.

Out wide, receiver Rashon Caesar is the go to guy. Caesar averaged over 100 yards a game over the Warhawks’ last 5. Overall he had 77 receptions for 872 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Also heading out wide will be Tyler Cain. Cain was the RB last year for Louisiana-Monroe, but with his breakaway speed, the Warhawks have decided to put him out.
With these two, Garret Smith will have an easier chance of settling in as he will definitely have some nerves going early on.
Georgia
The Bulldogs have always been known for their top tier running backs. That suit follows as Nick Chubb comes in off a solid 2014 and looks to make a run at the Heisman Trophy here in 2015.
Chubb had 1547 yards as a Freshman and rushed for 14 touchdowns. If he can put up those numbers as a Freshman, the more matured and experienced RB should be able to surpass those impressive numbers.

Chubb is not alone in the backfield either, which is the most dangerous feature of the Bulldogs. Sony Michel and Keith Marshall also compliment Chubb in the backfield which will give the Bulldogs a variety of different packages they can show.
Even though Georgia let up 30+ points on 6 different occasions in 2014, they do return 6 key defensive starters.
With the experience behind them, they should be able to improve on those numbers.
