The Kansas Jayhawks are travelling to Norman this week to take on the #16 Oklahoma Sooners in this Big 12 matchup.
The Sooners are currently 2nd in the conference behind Baylor and will need to run the table the rest of the way.
The Jayhawks are just hoping to not be embarrassed again.

Oklahoma comes into this one on a four-game winning streak, including a 66-59 shootout last week at Texas Tech.
The Jayhawks are on a six game losing streak and are excited about the start of basketball season.
Kansas Jayhawks
The Jayhawks started the year the right way with a dominant 55-6 win over Rhode Island at home.
Then things took a turn for the worse and stayed that way.
They have lost their last six and scored no more than 24 points in any of them. They were held to single-digits in two of them including a 49-7 loss at Baylor two weeks ago.

The Jayhawks were competitive through the first two quarters last week against Oklahoma State.
At halftime, they were only down 17-13 which was very encouraging. The bottom fell out in the second half however, and they ended up losing the game 44-20.
Oklahoma Sooners
Many people were quick to right the Sooners off earlier this year.
They began the season 1-2, and should blame the scheduling people for having Houston and Ohio State both in the first three weeks.
Granted, no one knew Houston would be this good when the game was scheduled, but you have to blame someone. God forbid it be Bob Stoops.

Oklahoma is sticking to the strategy of only playing one side of the ball.
They score 43.9 points per game which is good for 8th in the nation. They are 7th in passing offense with 354.6 per game and 30th in rushing with 217.7 per game.
The defense only has to show up and not give up 40, and they have a good chance of winning. They average just below that, allowing 36.7 points per game which is 115th in the country.

Free Week 9 NCAA Football Prediction
Kansas does not have much hope of winning, but they showed last week that they can at least keep it close for a while. Only Baylor has beaten them by 40 this year, and they have a much better defense than OU.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Kansas +40
Even with as bad as Kansas is, I could not bring myself to put money on an unpredictable team with a horrible defense like Oklahoma winning by 40.
