The Iowa Hawkeyes will take their 4-2 record to West Lafayette this weekend at Ross-Ade Stadium.
The Hawkeyes were able to get the best of the Golden Gophers in Minnesota last week 14-7 and will look to continue their streak in the Big Ten Conference this season.
The Purdue Boilermakers needed overtime in order to come away with a 34-31 victory over the Illinois Fighting Illini last week on the road.

The Boilermakers will be looking for some revenge after being defeated by the Hawkeyes 40-20 in their matchup last season.
Purdue Boilermakers
The Purdue Boilermakers had to give everything they had to come away with their first conference win of the season last week against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The overtime victory was definitely not the best game of the year for quarterback David Blough. The sophomore was able to come up with 220 yards through the air and a touchdown, but he also chucked two interceptions.
He now has 1298 passing yards on the season and a total of 7 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.

Running back Brian Lankford-Johnson had a huge game for the Boilermakers with 127 rushing yards on 18 carries.
It was only the third game of the season for the freshman, but his performance last week was more than enough for him to given plenty of opportunities this week against a stingy Hawkeye defense.
Purdue will come into the game with an average of 26 points per game. The defense of Purdue has continued to struggle against the run and gave up 315 rushing yards against the Fighting Illini.
They have been allowing teams to score an average of 31.4 points per game this year.
Iowa Hawkeyes
The Iowa defense dominated Minnesota last week and the offense put just enough points on the board for the Hawkeyes to come away with the win.
Senior quarterback C.J. Beathard was not his usual self, only throwing for 142 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions on 17 of 31 passes.
He has had an at least average season so far, throwing for 1087 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions.
The ground attack was forced to carry most of the load for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Akrum Wadley had no problem stepping up to the plate. He was able to rack up 107 yards on 14 carries and was able to find the end zone for a score.
With Iowa still playing without Matt Vandeberg, both Wadley and Daniels Jr. should have another big game against Purdue.

The defense is definitely the strength of the Iowa team and they will need to come up big again this week in West Lafayette.
They will come into the game ranked 13th in the country, only giving up an average of 16.5 points a game.
NCAA Football Handicapping Trends
- The Hawkeyes are 6-1 against the spread their last seven games on the road.
- Iowa is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games in West Lafayette.
- The Boilermakers are 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games they have played at home.
Free Week 7 NCAA Football Prediction
After seeing the offense struggle the way it did against Illinois last week, Purdue will need to have a serious plan put together in order to move the ball against Iowa.
It will be difficult for the Boilermakers to have any success at all trying to move the ball through the air and I can’t see them controlling the game on the ground.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Iowa -12.5
This game should be a great opportunity for the Hawkeyes to put up some good stats on offense both on the ground and through the air.
I don’t see this game going over 48.5 due to the lack of points scored by Purdue, but Iowa should have no problem covering the spread in this one.
