This Big Ten matchup features a very surprising 3-1 Indiana team, coming off of a huge upset over Michigan State, against an Ohio State team in the drivers seat for the College Football Playoff.
This game has all the makings of a rout, and I don’t see any way Indiana pulls off the upset, barring major injuries to every Buckeye quarterback and receiver.
Indiana Hoosiers
Outside of a terrible 5 interception game in a loss to Wake Forest, quarterback Richard Lagow has been a key component in the Hoosiers resurgence.
[dfads params=’groups=220&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Last week he faced a daunting task going up against a great Spartans defense, but answered the call with 276 yards passing, two touchdowns, and an interception.
He faces an Ohio State defense that has had lapses in the secondary at times, but performed good against Rutgers last week.
I expect 200 yards through the air and a score, but not enough to keep the Hoosiers in the game.
Devine Redding will be the focus of the Buckeyes defense this week. He is averaging over 103 yards per game and last week had 100 yards rushing and broke a long 36 yard run against Michigan St.
The key to the running game will be the offensive line doing enough to stop Ohio State’s front seven, and I don’t think they are up to the task.
After two straight games with 2 touchdowns and 125 yards receiving, Nick Westbrook was shut down last week.
The Ohio State secondary is known for giving up the big passing play each game, so I expect at least 2 big grabs from him down the field due to blown coverage.

The Hoosier defense did just enough against Michigan St. to get the victory last week.
They did give up 3 touchdowns passing to Tyler O’Connor, but were able to keep the ground game in check.
This week they face one of the best offenses in the country and I don’t expect them to stop the Buckeyes at all this week.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Beating up on a poor Rutgers team was expected of Ohio State, but I don’t think anyone thought a 58 point shutout was possible.
QB JT Barrett continued his Heisman campaign with another great performance. He threw 4 touchdown passes and had over 280 total yards of offense. During the game he also became Ohio State’s career leader in touchdown passes.
This week I’m looking for him to have another 4 touchdown game and reach 250 yards passing and 75 yards rushing in a huge performance.
Sophomore running back Mike Weber looks to be the guy that will continue the tradition of great Buckeye running backs.
He followed up a great game against Oklahoma with another strong one against Rutgers.
He had 144 yards on the ground and a score. The Hoosiers defense will not be able to stop the Ohio State running game this week and I’m expecting 2 touchdowns and 125 yards from Weber.
Curtis Samuel continues to be a Percy Harvin clone. Against Rutgers he had 9 carries for 68 yards, and 7 catches for 86 yards and a score. Look for him to reach 150 total yards again as the Buckeye offense rolls.
[dfads params=’groups=219&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
I’m expecting another great game from the Ohio State defense.
They were able to shut down Rutgers last week and this week they will give up a couple of big plays to Indiana in the passing the game, but I don’t see a poor performance happening.

Free Week 6 NCAA Football Prediction
Many would expect Ohio State to look ahead on the schedule, but all season long the Buckeyes have been very focused on each opponent, and it should be the same intensity this week.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Ohio State ATS, OVER
The Buckeyes offense will score on every possession, and the Hoosiers will be forced to throw more than they’d like to try and play catch up. Look for the Buckeyes to blow them out and win big.
