A pair of surprising Big 10 teams get set to battle it off in Week 6 as the 4-1 Fighting Illini take on the 5-0 Iowa Hawkeyes.
Illinois comes in off a giant win over Nebraska in Week 5.

For the Hawkeyes, they tacked on another win after their 10-6 win over Wisconsin, inside Camp Randall.
Kick off is set for high noon in Iowa.
Illinois
Illinois is proving they are a different team this season. With the exception of their loss against North Carolina, the Fighting Illini have impressed many as they bring in a 4-1 record. An upset win over Iowa here on Saturday may sneak them into the Top 25 and make a giant splash in the Big 10 race.
Illinois comes in off a defensive struggle against Nebraska that saw them come out victorious 14-13.

QB Wes Lunt finished 23 of 45 with 251 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. WR Geronimo Allison was Lunt’s main target as he finished with 8 receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown.
The ground game was also in full effect as it continued to produce, which kept the Fighting Illini offense on the field.
Ke’Shawn Vaughn led the way with 24 rushes for 98 yards. Along side him, RB Josh Ferguson added 4 rushes for 50 yards.
Iowa
The Hawkeyes have been the most impressive Big 10 team that hasn’t even been mentioned.
Iowa comes in off their most impressive win of the season as they went on the road and knocked off Wisconsin 10-6. The Hawkeyes defense is 11th country against the rush as they allow just 84.4 yards per game.

Offensively, the Hawkeyes are looking for a bounce back performance. A team that averages 37.8 points per game, scored just 10 and struggled to produce any sort of rhythm against the Badgers.
QB CJ Beathard finished 9 of 21 with 71 yards along with an interception and a touchdown.
The ground game was the biggest key for the Hawkeyes. RB Jordan Canzeri rushed for 125 yards on 26 carries. On the season, Iowa is averaging 185.8 rush yards per game.
