This week will be the first game of the season for the Georgia Bulldogs without being ranked in the top 25.
They lost a nail biter last week to the University of Tennessee on a Hail Mary touchdown pass to a final score of 31-34.
They will look to try and keep their record above .500 this week with a win in Columbia South Carolina against the Gamecocks.

South Carolina is also coming off of a loss after being beaten by Texas A&M 24-13 last week.
They will be an underdog this week at home and will be looking for some revenge after being dominated by the Bulldogs in their last match up 52-20.
South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina has had some difficulties this season, but with a win this week against Georgia they will at least be able to improve their record to .500.
The Gamecocks defense allowed Texas A&M to gain over 400 yards of total offense last week, making it the third time South Carolina has done so this year.
On a positive note, despite giving up so many yards, the Gamecocks come into this week’s’ matchup ranked 23rd in the nation, only allowing 18 points to be scored against them a game.
The offense has been the weak link for the team so far this season.

The game against East Carolina has been the only game of 2016 in which the Gamecocks have been able to put up more than 20 points on the board.
With freshman starting at both the quarterback and running back positions, South Carolina has been able to come up with much production this year.
Brandon Mcllwain was only able to connect on 9 of 15 pass attempts last week for a total of 37 yards and an interception to add to the misery.
A.J. Turner was able to pass the 100 yard mark, rushing for 113 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
Georgia Bulldogs
After suffering consecutive losses in the SEC to Ole Miss and Tennessee, the Georgia Bulldogs will enter this game as an unranked team and without star running back Nick Chubb.
Quarterback Jacob Eason was able to throw the ball for 211 yards last week, finding a receiver on 17 of his 28 passing attempts.
Chubb left the game after his first carry, leaving Brian Herrien and Sony Michel to carry the load throughout the rest of the game.

There is still a lot of growth and development ahead of Eason who is yet to pass the 1,000 yard mark this season.
Georgia will need as much help as they can get on the ground against a South Carolina defense that is giving up over 200 rushing yards per game.
NCAA Football Handicapping Trends
- The Under is 4-0 in South Carolina’s last 4 games following a win against the spread.
- The Under is 5-1 in South Carolina’s last 6 games at home.
- The Under is 10-2 in Georgia’s last 12 games.
Free Week 6 NCAA Football Prediction
The Bulldog’s defense hasn’t been very strong this season, but South Carolina hasn’t shown anything this year to raise much of a concern.
This week could be a great opportunity for the Georgia defense to start building some momentum.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Georgia -7
Georgia will have to show that their running game can be effective without Nick Chubb in order to show that they can win against the SEC.
This will be a great opportunity for the Dogs to see just what their backs are able to do. Georgia should have no problem covering the spread in this one and I see the total staying under 44.5.
