The MAC gets set for Thursday night as the Buffalo Bulls come to Ohio to take on the Kent State Golden Flashes.
Both teams come in 2-2 in the MAC East as a loss will likely eliminate them from contention while the other will stay relevant.

Kent State comes in off a blowout loss to Bowling Green as their offense couldn’t figure anything out and their defense couldn’t stop anybody.
As for the Bulls, they hung on against the Redhawks 29-24 to get back to .500.
Buffalo
While the MAC East is likely wrapped up by the Bowling Green Falcons, the Bulls still have a legit chance at a bowl game.
Last season, Buffalo fell one game short and that was thanks in large part to their game against Kent State, in Buffalo, getting snowed out. The Golden Flashes were unable to travel into Buffalo and the NCAA decided to cancel the game completely.
With that, the Bulls will be playing with a giant chip on their shoulder as they try to control their own destiny and clinch a bowl game earlier this season.

Buffalo is led by QB Joe Licata. The Bulls QB has thrown for 1876 yards to go along with 10 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. While Licata has completed nearly 64% of his passes, he’s led an offense that is scoring 28.1 points per game.
Also giving major contributions to the Bulls offense is RB Jordan Johnson. He’s rushed for 575 yards to go along with 7 touchdowns on the season. Johnson had 123 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win over Miami.
Kent State
Kent has found themselves in the middle of an offensive and now defensive problem.
Offensively, they benched Colin Reardon, who had thrown for 743 yards to go along with 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, for QB George Bollas. Bollas has shown some signs of potential, but has also struggled at times, especially last week against Bowling Green.
Overall, Bollas has 425 pass yards with just 1 touchdown to 4 interceptions. He’s most dangerous when he gets out of the pocket and runs as he’s got 161 yards and a touchdown on 55 rushes.

After being one of the best teams in the MAC defensively, Kent has really sputtered as of late. The Golden Flashes are allowing 333.4 yards against, but have seen their total points allowed really grow lately.
They’re now allowing 27.6 points against, but still do have a +3 in the turnover margin. Thats thanks in large part to DB Nate Holley who has a pair of sacks and an interception on the season.

Free Week 10 NCAA Football Prediction
Kent State should have a little bit more success against the Bulls here unlike last week. However, Buffalo just offers too big of a run game and a solid defense that should continue to shut down the Golden Flashes offense.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Buffalo ATS
Buffalo should be able to pick apart Kent’s secondary and force the Golden Flashes into some turnovers.
