Arkansas State’s tough non conference schedule continues on Friday night as they head to Utah to take on the Aggies.
Utah State will look to rebound from a horrible loss last week at the hands of the Trojans, who just picked them apart from start to finish.
Arkansas State Red Wolves
The Red Wolves road to a postseason bowl is not going to be an easy one.

Arkansas State has started their season off with games against Toledo and Auburn, both which have proved to be too much for them.
The Red Wolves defense has really struggled here in the early going.
They’ve allowed 82 points combined, continuing to put their offense in holes they simply cannot dig out of.

However, the offense isn’t putting up much of a fight either to help the cause. The Red Wolves have put up just 24 points this season as QB Chad Voytik hasn’t produced much.
Through the first two games, Voytik has managed just 339 pass yards and has not recorded a touchdown.
In total, the Red Wolves have averaged just 296 yards per game.
Utah State Aggies
After taking it to Weber State, the Aggies couldn’t build off the season opening win.
Utah State went into USC and was picked apart by the Trojans in what eventually turned out to be a 45-7 loss. The Aggies allowed 422 yards off offense while putting up just 253 themselves.
[dfads params=’groups=219&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
The Trojans took the Aggies out of their comfort zone with the early hole, which is what Arkansas State must do here. The Aggies are a run first team, but were forced into the pass game after going down by a lot early.
To compare, the Aggies had just 49 rush yards in the loss to USC while compiling 428 against Weber State.
Expect the Aggies to really force the issue with the run game early on here and try to wear the Red Wolves down.
