With the rosters nearly settled and the positions and lineups being solidified, the futures are steady and locked in for at least a week or two into the season. Bettors can certainly find value now as teams will get off to fast starts and see their odds change, eliminating the value.
Chicago Cubs 9/2
Cubs fans have waited since 1945 to find themselves in a World Series.
They fell just short last year and with a few major moves this past offseason, fans may not have to wait much longer. Chicago returns everybody from last year, including Cy Young winner Jake Arrieta who was a force in the playoffs.

In the offseason the Cubs upgraded by adding John Lackey, Ben Zobrist and Jason Heyward.
Heyward headlined the signings as he was signed to a giant contract and solidifies what is already a phenomenal outfield.
San Francisco Giants 9-1
The phrase “every even year” has been the motto for the Giants and it has made them a popular bet prior to the start of the season.
The Giants won the World Series in 2010, 2012, and in 2014, giving fans and backers reason to believe that trend will continue once again.
San Francisco is one of the most complete teams offensively, defensively, and in pitching. Johnny Cueto will add to what is an already impressive pitching staff that will feature one of the most talented staffs top to bottom.
New York Mets 10-1
Last years runner up returns everyone and even returns Yoenis Cespedes, who was a free agent this past offseason, but decided to ultimately stay with the Mets.
New York leaned heavily on their pitching staff, that features Matt Harvey, Jacob deGrom, and Noah Syndergaard who proved they were tough to beat in a playoff series.

Offensively, the Mets added Neil Walker and Asdrubal Cabrera this off-season to really solidify their lineup.
Boston Red Sox 12-1
Don’t sleep on this Red Sox team.
After completely shipping away the core of their team, the Red Sox spent last season really rebuilding and getting set for 2016.
They did just that this past offseason by signing David Price, who will obviously be their ace and really bolsters a pitching staff that was their weakest point.
Combine all that with David Ortiz announcing this is his final season, think about the story book ending that could be awaiting.
Kansas City Royals 14-1
The defending champs continue to be doubted time and time again.
After falling 90 feet away from tying the 2014 World Series, the Royals completed the task by taking down the Mets in the World Series last year. This team doesn’t lose much and they are still one of the youngest teams in the league.
However, they will be in a division that saw every team improve, which could make life tough for them if they dig themselves a gap early on.
Los Angeles Dodgers 15-1
The Dodgers always seem to be there when it comes to October.
Offering one of the highest payrolls in baseball, this team has the potential behind ace Clayton Kershaw. It’s almost a given every time he takes the hill the Dodgers either have a chance to win.
Los Angeles did lose Zack Greinke this past off-season, as they will look to some others to step up in their pitching staff. Scott Kazmir is one of those guys who will be asked to do a lot this year.
Toronto Blue Jays 18-1
Toronto was the team that went for it last season at the deadline.
They traded for David Price and had one of the most daunting lineups in the MLB. However, they came up short to the eventual World Series Champions, as their pitching just couldn’t hold up.
This is quite the year for the Jays though. With Price gone, they’ll look to Marcus Stroman and R.A Dickey to really step up. Offensively, Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion are in their final years in their contract. A Blue Jays run could save them from leaving.
Arizona Diamondbacks 25-1
The Diamondbacks went out and dished money left and right this past offseason, which is something not too many expected.
Arizona had zero problems scoring last year as they were one of the best offenses in the National League. However, it was their pitching that let them down.
They went out and signed Zack Greinke and Shelby Miller to really booster their lineup, making this team very dangerous here in 2016.
Cleveland Indians 30-1
Like the Royals, this Indians team will be improved and can arguably say this is the toughest division in baseball.
This team has the ability to really make a push. They hold possibly the best pitching staff in baseball with Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, and Danny Salazar headlining it, while the offense saw Mike Napoli, Juan Uribe, and Rajai Davis come in.

The key will be April for the Indians. OF Michael Brantley will be out on Opening Day, asking a lot of players to step up and produce until he returns.
Detroit Tigers 30-1
After seeing their reign in the AL Central go down in 2015, this team has set themselves up for a remarkable 2016.
Detroit went out and acquired Justin Upton to solidify this outfield, along with Jordan Zimmerman to help the rotation out. The starting rotation will feature Justin Verlander and Jordan Zimmerman as one of the best 1-2 punches in baseball.
And lets not forget, Miguel Cabrera is still lurking in this lineup.
