A day after going 2-5 and losing $512, the plays on Wednesday fall just short of a full sweep in going 6-1 and adding $794 back to bank in the process. Winners were abundant on the day, and even the sweet flow of the Karma gods seemed to be shining on my wagers. Winners for the day included Minnesota, the Mets in a 12-0 rout, St Louis, the Rockies holding on for dear life 6-5, the Dodgers rallying from a 4-0 1st deficit to win 7-6 on Nomo walk off HR, and Seattle who gets a 3-run shot in 12th to roll past the Angels 10-7. Seattle and the Cardinals also had the added bonus of being underdogs clearly offsetting the juice given away in the lone loss of the day on the A's......3-2 losers against the Devil Rays. A's win would have also cashed huge $5 7-team parlay hit......oh well.
With a limited slate of games for Thursday, I am making only 5 selections for the day and I am also looking to finally put together some kind of hot streak before the season comes to a conclusion. The five plays can be purchased for only $7, and that nominal fee will be promptly REFUNDED if the plays fail to produce a profit to the bankroll.
Well Penny got shell shocked in giving up two 1st inning HR's and 6 runs in the first 2 frames of Wednesday's contest with the Phillies, but LA got to Blanton and took an exciting....especially if you had the Dodgers like I did....7-6 victory when Mr Mia Hamm hits a walk off HR in the 9th. Nice to catch another free one, looking to make it 3 in a row on Thursday.
Speaking of which, for Thursday KTS will be backing the efforts of the Atlanta Braves as they look to salvage anything they can in a home series against the Cubs. More than a ringing endorsement of Glavine, this play is against the road work of Cubs starter Lilly...especially in this spot. Look for the Braves to look a little better than they did in being swept by the Cubs on Wednesday.
Atlanta Glavine +123
The very BEST OF LUCK to everyone with their action on Thursday
