BEST BETS for Wednesday were Florida, the winner, Tampa Bay and Milwaukee -1.5, the two losers. Other winners for Wednesday were Houston, Cubs -1.5, Philadelphia, Boston -1.5, Detroit, and Seattle. The wins on the Phillies -136, and Detroit -146 rises my record on plays of favorites of 130 or more to a sparkling 21-5 since June 25th, including the last 8 in a row. Two BB's for today fall into that "hot" category of selections.
