 NL East Notes Johan Santana did it all for the New York Mets (87-70, 3.39 units) on Tuesday night just when they needed him the most. Not only did he strike out 10 over eight innings, he sparked the Mets’ offense with an unusual broken-bat infield single in a 6-2 win over the Cubs.
